That's what i got it at too. 4' = 4.5. The apostrophe = the hook. It's easier for me to post that way than with .5 each time, esp on my phone. It also makes me feel more professional. I mention this in the first post in my threads, but understandably, you're only looking at current page. No worries, i get that question every so often. BOL today.

Tempting, yes, but like Marlins side much better. Consider -1 RL or in parlay, i say.

I also hate playing any total with that shithead Gerry Davis behind the plate. Same with Laz Diaz - don't even like playing a side with Laz Diaz, frankly. Laz Diaz is a penetrating psycho.

Also worth noting that roof likely to be open in Miami which increases the park factor significantly. With the increased park factor, i could actually make an argument for over 6 based upon my model (not that i'd really want to play an over with these two pitchers).

Two things that Gerry Davis is good for when he's behind the plate: fading the Rays and backing the home team.

Don't have numbers available, but i know that early last year, there was a stat that the Rays were something like 5-27 with him behind the plate. It was literally like 80+%.

Some actual number re: backing home team from covers this morning (some obviously more relevant than others):
Home team is 10-1 in Davis' last 11 games behind home plate.
Home team is 4-1 in Davis' last 5 Saturday games behind home plate vs. San Diego.
Home team is 5-2 in Davis' last 7 games behind home plate vs. Miami.
Home team is 12-5 in Davis' last 17 Saturday games behind home plate.
Home team is 17-8 in Davis' last 25 games behind home plate vs. San Diego.

Already loved Fernandez and Fish today and liked them even better once I saw those trends. Of course, watch Fernandez have his first crappy home start in ages now that I make it a discussion point...

Screw the total, play the fish. Honestly Fernandez at -140 is a steal IMO.. I've bet these cats every gm, they took it to cards all spring and while it clearly meant more to them I was impressed enough to come out the gates swinging w this team. Hell with nats being choke artist and braves the strike out kings I wouldn't be shocked if fish competed for this div..

Gotta play rats again, might as well give the 1.5 for all that plus money cause cards can't touch Liriano. Cards Tt under whatever prob good as well..

Cash O's/Tigers FF over. Tribe looking awful. If that continues, may re-place Marlins either -1 RL or in ML parlay (perhaps with Pirates, Angels or Rays). Maybe separate plays on Marlins -1 RL (+111) and Rats -1 RL (+103) might be in order.

Most important aspect to MLB capping, i say, at least for totals. I'd rather watch a game with a gun in my mouth than have an under with McClelland behind the plate or a day game over with Eddings behind the plate/any over with Iassogna calling balls and strikes.
