The White Sox are still mathematically in the playoff hunt as they host the Mariners this afternoon in Chicago.
Chicago starter Freddy 'The Chief' Garcia has been brilliant over his last three starts (0.81 ERA; 0.62 WHIP), including a close encounter with a no-hitter.
His mound opponent for Seattle, 21-yr-old rookie Ryan Feierabend, has impressed, though in just six innings after his recent call-up. The southpaw has allowed just one hit and one walk with four strikeouts in those six frames. Take the under.
