Koruda and NYY (+135) OVER Holland and TEX

Over Kuroda’s last 10 starts he's gone 3-3 with a 2.63 ERA and 6/10 being QS and in 4 starts against TEX he’s 1-2 with a 2.60 ERA!

Over Holland’s last 10 starts he's gone 4-3 with a 3.22 ERA and 8/10 being QS and in 8 starts against NYY he’s 1-5 with a 7.21 ERA!

Kuroda came through for me against a much hotter offense in BOS the other night and I feel he can come through today! TEX’s offense is scuffling right now and even though NYY’s offense sucks in 2013. I like NYY.

Plus I like the +135 line! BOL to everyone!

Took the U8 here... Not so sure I like Yankees active batters stats here against Holland enough to take Yanks +135 though:

Derek Holland vs Active Yankees (since 2010)

BA: .214 OBP: .283 SLG: .350 OTS: .099

But Kuroda has even better numbers against the Rangers active batters too:

BA: .177 OBP: .226 SLG: .354 OTS: .080

Despite the apparent pitching advantage, Yankees offense overall is just anemic. Holland gives up a decent % of fly balls in a home run hitters park, but the yanks are slugging just .336 in July and .369 this season, so I doubt they'll be able take advantage of that fact.

My only concern for the under is that the Rangers hit well off of righties: BA: .262, OBP: .319, SLG: .429, OTS: .137, but Kuroda hasn't given up more than 2 ERs in any of his last 7 starts and he has had some success against these hitters before (small sample size though), so I think he should be able to keep the Rangers under control.
