The Nationals are the favorite tomorrow with Gio Gonzalez on the mound. He's 7-3 with a 2.89 ERA but the Nationals are on a 6 game losing streak and the Pirates are on a 4 game winning streak.

It seems like the Nationals are a good bet with Gonzalez at home but the team has been playing pretty bad. They're -132 right now.

    Any thoughts?

I'm liking the pirates tomorrow although Burnett has been shaky on the road, the pirates are just too hot right now and the nationals are the complete opposite right now. They're playing like dog shitt. I like to ride hot teams and fade cold ones so ill be taking the better team at plus money

Harper and Desmond back in in the lineup tomorrow. Hopefully that helps them.

            Over Gio's last 10 starts he's gone 4-1 with a 2.23 ERA and 9/10 being QS. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/8179

            Over A.J's last 10 starts he's gone 1-5 with a 3.46 ERA and 6/10 being QS. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/6314

WSH's offense is struggling but it only takes one game to breakout. 6 game losing streak or not, I'm taking the Nats here.

            BOL to everyone!

Burnett surrendered 10 H in 5.2 IP in his last outing (at the Reds) and though he was effective in his three starts before that, look who he faced -- the Cubs twice, and the Mets. Over the last few years he's wilting by August.

On the flip side Burnett has over the past few years been better in day games. Gio better in night games.

Still I like the Nats to get to Burnett enough for Gio to twirl his way to a win. Pirates don't fare well against lefties with a .241 average, in the bottom third of MLB and Gio has pretty much owned them in the past. Need some bats from the Nats though... this could be a tight one. BOL.

knowing the pirates won the first 3 games of the series and how bad the nats have been...and the line is still -135...that says nats are the play
