Not sure if I like it at 118 but if I do play I will be playing the over. You leaning over?

What up fellas. I just looked on my book and I have O/U 119 Runs listed today. 6 day games, and if you look at the slate of pitchers, you see a LOT of guys with good stuff: Wheeler, Verlander, Kuroda, Holland (Yanks can't hit lefties), Hellickson, Lynn, etc.

Since I'm tracking my record for shits & giggles, I'm going to officially say I'm betting 2 units on the UNDER 119 -115. My record is 3-1-1 so far, up 4 units. BOL today boys.

          get em daddypoker!

Yesterday there were 116 runs scored, 15 games played. Average of 7.73 runs per game.

Today there are 14 games with better pitchers going overall. You would need an average of more than 8.5 runs today to cash the Over. Like the Under better.

Gonna need a lot of help from the night games to cash this one... at this point, I wouldn't care if the Mia/Col game got postponed and cancelled the action. Or it needs to end 1-0 to give us a chance

Well, last night we have another 'No Action' bet... at 3-1-2 now, still up 4 units.

For tonight, we have 16 games. Over/Under is 131.5 at my book. I see the books are adjusting the Salami runs a bit downward lately... Tonight, you would need an average of 8.25 runs per game to get the Over. Pitching lineup includes Kershaw, Zimmerman, Harvey, Colon, and Tillman.

Leaning Under since there were so many runs scored yesterday. What do you guys think?

Thats one of the things I like being a bettor. If you don't like a side you can always past and wait for tomorrow lines. Bookies always have to post a line and take action. Obviously, I past today was actually leaning over but wasn't feeling it. Hope you win your bet. It will make me feel bettor not placing a over bet.

Books set it at 143 today over 17games. What's the general view regarding pitchers today. Do we think they can keep it below this at an avg of 8.4runs per game ?

Teams that may damage the chances:
                                      Braves

What up fellas. Last Friday was a loser for me. I'm at 3-2-2 now, up 3 units.

As I've been capping these Salami bets, I tend to always bet the Under (if you haven't noticed). Now that Vegas is setting the line at a lower average, I've got to take that into account when capping. Maybe in my head I think the steroid era is over and the day will be full of lower scoring games, I don't know.

With 17 games on the slate today, there are some pitchers that are due for a nice rebound after bad last outings, such as Gallardo, Straily, and Saunders. Also, CJ Wilson has ben hot but usually struggles in Texas.

I find that with so many games, its less likely that you would get THAT many to average 8.4+ runs. Last time there were 17 games was 6/18, and they didn't get near 143 (although one game was postponed).

I'm going to bet 1 unit on the Under 143. Best of luck gentleman

Yesterdays total undone by the freak 14-11 score in Texas.

Todays total set at 122 over 15 games. Books seem to be continuing to slash the number with this one averaging 8.2runs

What's frustrating is that even with a crazy Rangers game like 14-11 (which I was actually at last night), it still only lost by 3 runs (total of 146 runs scored last night I'm pretty sure). Uggh that blows

I don't like this bet because come Fall, there will be at least one rain out a day. So, one, you will often be risking money with no hope of a return, or two, you'll be tying up money you can use elsewhere. The Nation's weather has been mild these last couple of weeks, but it won't last.

Enjoy it while you can, but my advice is to just forget about this bet.

El Sol, I see what you are saying. Always a chance of your bet getting cancelled out by a rainout/postponement. But that's just the chance you take.

As far as today, Vegas continues to drop the average per game. Today it's at o/u 89, which is o/u 8.09 runs per game average. Today you have pithcers going with an ERA under 3.00 (Darvish, Harvey, Sale, and King Felix). I passed on this one, but I took scoreless first for Chi/Cle
