    Charlie Morton starting.
    Pirates bad on the road.
    Reds good at home
    Mat Latos good at home
Pirates not scoring a lot of runs

I seriously can not see one angle where getting +115 is not a tremendous bet outside of the pure fact technically if the Reds win it may be by just 1...

it is one of the best plays on the board imo. the only caveat is latos last outing was his second worst of the year so far. regardless...im on the reds today

from fangraphs: Morton went 3-0 with a 0.93 ERA in four starts against the Reds in 2011, his opponent on Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

latos coming off a bad start, let up 8 hits against the CUBS.

Morton coming off a pretty good start.

Reds are at home, so 1 run lead ends it in the last inning.

pitchf/x shows latos slider wasnt biting as much last start, maybe hes having some issues

Reds always seem to find a way to shit the bed when Latos starts. bats disappear and/or BP blows it

What about the 7.20 ERA he posted vs. Cin in 2012 in 2 starts, going 0-2?

yes but 2011 was 2 years ago...last year in 2012 he went 0-2 with an era of 7.5 against the reds...

Maybe it was worth noting his solid performances occurred in Cincy, not trying to make an argument any which way just throwing it out there.

On April 15, 2011, Morton threw a complete game at the Cincinnati Reds, giving up a solo-home run and 4 other hits while striking out 3. On May 18, 2011, again at Great American Ball Park, Morton threw a complete game-shutout, striking out 5 and giving up 5 hits.[11]
Morton underwent successful hip surgery to repair a torn labrum in October 2011, with a full recovery expected in 4–6 months. He was optimistic to return before Opening Day.[12] However, he began the 2012 season on the disabled list, making his season debut on April 14, 2012. He was eventually knocked out for the 2012 season after having to undergo Tommy John surgery on June 14, 2012.[13]

That probably explained his 2012 performance.

That bolded part is false, I watched the game and he labored through it all, he is lucky he escaped with that line, he got out of HUGE jams all but one inning he was in, and I'm talking 1&3 1 out or second and third two out type things. He looked terrible and now he's is going on the road versus a good offensive team.

Thank for the insight though, I'll take that into consideration.

Agreed a bit of a stretch. Decent might be a better adjective considering it's his first game back. He did get a lot of grounders which seems promising, seemed to be a little wild but had good movement. Still a big question mark IMO but there is potential for a good start. Maybe he will settle in today
