    Julio Teheran.....

I dunno what kind of name that is and if I were Atlanta I would do a minimum 30-year background check before signing the dotted line with this guy

Timmay just needs to put down the dope pipe and start rebuilding his Cy Young collection

I capped Timmay at +120 so I don't expect Giants to win but at this price is the

Lince-crap is not the guy he used to be, just a scrub now. Teheran is a rookie MVP and ATL is one of the best teams in the league. I think line is correct, dont back Lince-cvnt, he has hurt me many times

Lincecum inhaled for years but he is rethinking about his future. ERA is misleading when he is really Kershaw NorCal

Braves TT over is the play. Huge giants fan and timmy has been declining for 2 consecutive seasons. No one fears him anymore and most teams approach when they face him is to be patient because hes bound to make a mistake he can't get away throwing 90 MPH fastballs with horrible command. He was always a power pitcher with mediocre command his first two years and blew people away his command was never that good and now you can see how much of his success came from simply blowing people away.

Since you blasphemize, let us talk Lincecum for a moment....

Timmay's stuff is good as ever, he's still just a kid tracing the arc of a budding career (no pun intended).

Let's look at the last 2 years. One reason his ERA is up is that he has pitched more than his fair share of games at Coors and Chase Field. The other reason is balls are flying out of AT&T park at a higher than average rate. Odd, but true....and that's the nature of the blip. If you still don't understand what I mean then check total runs scored at Rangers ballpark this year...

                          Now let's talk Teheran....

Do you know what happened in Teheran the other day? They elected a new president. After taking them nuclear, Mahmoud is now finally gone.

Should that impact Julio Teheran negatively on the mound? I should hope so, but here's the more important point. NEVER trust dominican pitchers. I mean look at Jimenez after they gave him the Cy Young....it turns out the muchacho is wearing no clothes.

If you think his stuff is as good as ever you're on something bro. The speed of his pitches have declined dramatically since he won his second Cy young. He only has 4 quality starts out of 13 this season. And if you think his ERA is over inflated because of coors and chase field you are miss informed. And since when is looking at a pitchers ERA an indication of dominance? If you believe that then you are missing something any advance saber metric stats will show you how bad he truly has been. And as far as your claim about ATT and balls flying out that is completly false. ATT is a pitchers park and will always be a pitchers park just based on how its built and its proximity to the water and all the variables mother nature throws out. Rangers ballpark is an offensive ball park so you trying to compare it to ATT is like comparing apples to oranges there is no merit to that statement.

Your Teheran analysis is way off base since you are indicating that his performance has suffered as of late because he is Dominican. That is an absurd statement and has zero credibility to use as an argument to bet against him.

My original statement might seem "blasphemous" to you but it is the truth. However, they are still my team and will be cheering for the win but Timmy has been far from good for a very long time and his decline seems more imminent than ever with every start he takes. There's a reason hes such a big dog today.

".... I sat next to Jon Paul Morosi of FoxSports.com during the game and he asked me the biggest difference between Cy Young Timmy and the Lincecum of today who has four quality starts out of 13.There’s velocity, of course. He doesn’t throw in the upper 90s anymore. Then again, he didn’t throw that hard in 2010, when he struck out 14 Atlanta Braves in a 1-0, NLDS victory in Game 1. (In many ways, that game ranks as the best I’ve ever seen – even better than Matt Cain’s perfect game.)
As I told Jon Paul, I think the biggest difference is that hitters don’t chase his pitches out of the strike zone like they used to.
When they swing, they miss at the same rate. In 2008, his first Cy Young season, 20 percent of his strikes were swinging. He had the exact same percentage of swing throughs last year, when his 5.18 ERA was the worst among all NL starters, 20 percent.
But in 2009, his last Cy Young season, batters chased 49.4 percent of his changeups out of the strike zone and 45.7 percent of his sliders out of the zone. Last year, those percentages dropped to 39.0 percent and 37.2 percent, respectively.
And, of course, those pitches are a lot more effective to generate swings when you’re throwing them 0-2 instead of trying to work backwards from 2-0.
Bengie Molina once told me, back when Lincecum was struggling in the beginning of 2010, that the right-hander was getting hitters out “with his name.” There would come a time when those hitters would figure out that Lincecum didn’t have the same stuff, and if they were patient and waited for mistakes, he’d feed them one.
“When that happens, that’s when he’ll have to adjust,” I recall Bengie telling me.
After a year and a half, Lincecum is still trying to make that adjustment. It’s so much easier when you throw 98. But those days are not coming back.
Lincecum said he thought of his own major league debut, against the Phillies in 2007, when he found out he’d be pitching against Cole. A local reporter asked a follow-up question: Did he often think of that game?
                              Lincecum’s reply dripped with melancholy."

Very true. But he has yet to make any consistent adjustments. Sure he may re surface periodically as a more than capable pitcher but has failed to string anything consistent the last few years.

Atlanta wins today. Lincecum is not a good pitcher on the Road.

Timmay might channel his old self on espn vs the bravos he famously punched out way back when in that nlds game. Sunday night baseball in the dirty south comes with a little bit of heat...and Timmay don't mind the heat. Bravos rook could get shook under the lights and scrutiny of Sunday night baseball in primetime. Bravos bats have been cool, too...I've been sensing frustration in the plate presence of Freeman and McCann. Conversely, in the SF batting order, Posey and Pence have stepped up to eclipse the void left by panda n pagan. SF feels right. Good luck east bay backers.
