yeah, i bit. don't feel that great about it cause miami can't hit lefties at all, but yet somehow they've beaten him 3 times already

public has short term memory. thats why books get away with -200 lines on a pitcher thats 0-3 vs a team. they remember the last 2 days of losses for mia, and forget they swept a team before that. not to many times in the MLB will you see a team get a sweep one week and then get swept the next.

              you aren't thinking this str8

Mia was up 2-0 and blew it in 1 inning on 3 hits... then went up 3-2 and blew it 3 outs away. then they had a stupid inning with walks and crap and then just imploded and gave up a walk off granny to lose

you don't play well the next day after you pull shit like this in MLB

Phillies have now scored 7 runs in a row now 3 or 4 games... everything points to Phillies for tomorrow, I would bet the RL

lets say the RL option doesnt exist, would you rather lay over -200 on a 1-9 pitcher who is 0-3 vs a team, or +192 on a team that just came from getting an upset sweep and hasnt been swept by this team in the last 3 series? ya i agree, MIA is terrible at holding on to a win, but the line is way off here imo. i gotta side with the books in spots where i think they can make up their losses from the last 2, in a series. this is the perfect scenario for that. public loving the PHI in the first 2, why wouldnt they lay -200 here.

i think with fish and lastros at least splitting wager between gm and ff is a pretty good idea, if not simply just betting ff as they do tend to blow a lot of gms late and really dont recall either making many comebacks... i like the ov 7.5 @ + money myself..

The "value" while I hate that word, is on the marlins hands down.

Lowering the units and wagering them, rather than the Phils. Hamels sucks at home, sucks against the fish, sucks in general.

Fish can't be happy giving that one away last night so they don't want to get swept in this series today.

I would say go to church say a pray and drink daily dose of communion for the Marlin backers. A sharp play here would be no score in the 1st when it comes out, if you can get at -115 or better. On a side note you have a better chance of backing the Padres +190 tonight, that if you're looking for real value. Atleast their bats are going too give you a shot at winning. Don't forget the Padres sweep in LA back in April. They would be the team to avoid the sweep more so, then Miami IMO. You've got two even pitchers on the mound Jason Marquis Vs. Clayton Kershaw.

Back to Hamels, his three starts against the marlins this year have all been solid.

                            6 IP 2 R 10 K
                            8 IP 2 R 6 K
                            6 IP 1 R 5 K

Hamels has been knocked around a few times this year, but not by the marlins.

Mr Matt has short term memory. The Marlins just swept the Muts who just came fresh off a series sweeping the Yanks. Home ump Hirschbeck not much of a dog lover 10 outta last 12 games fave has won with him behind home plate. Have to see what weather says but agree with Banker at 1st glance the ov might not be a bad play if I fire on this one. GL everyone

Now I lean the Over instead...

If the fish can get 3 runs, I think the Phils get 5...

Or it could end up the other way around, 5-3 Marlins on top...

its kind of a spot bet in MLB, when a team finds a completely ludicrous way to lose a game... they almost always play poor the next day
