finally at the +2000 (+20 units) mark. took me 1 day under 2 weeks so good pace so far. went on my best run so far the last 2 days 8-0 +1108. now that im at the +20 units mark, the rules loosen up a little. gonna work on maximizing wins and minimizing losses. still have to play every team on every game. any unit size can be bet now. units still based on $100. so team -120 x2 means risk 240 to win 200. team +200 x.5 means 50 to win 100. parlays can be played within the 4 teams. so you could have team +200 as one pick and the other 3 teams in a parly as the other pick and that would count as playing every team. for record keeping parlays will be recorded in a separate row and applied to overall record as well. teams involved in the parlay will score a win in the W/L but split the profits evenly in the ($). main total will include parlay results as well.Comment -

I say don't mess with success but I also see how you can minimize risk with parlays. And great job the last two days. Always good to see others doing well. This is my first year betting baseball and I'm getting my feel for it and I'm trying different things.Comment -

i thought about adding in RL at the 2000 mark. but decided to not mess with it right now. maybe later on if i keep having +money weeks. and yep same 4 teams all season long. the only parameters i have at this stage are that i must make a play on every team that has a game that day. so tomorrow i only have 3 teams to pick. so i can make 1 play that includes all 3 or any other combination of plays as long as all 3 teams are involved at some point.Comment -

just points and pride on the line. this is my first go at an entire MLB season. just a practice thread for record keeping. have a goal in mind of somewhere around +50 units at a +55% hit rate. if i can do that ill bet it next season based on the same guide lines.
ya Blanton sucks. and LAA is terrible against LHP's based on ERA, and the 3 previous games have been double dog upsets why not the forth. but im 4-1 in the last 5 for HOU, so id rather bet the long run ending at low risk to profits, especially in a spot where the other teams are in a strange spot to cap as well. i dont see STL losing 2 in a row, but a good spot for that would be against ARI after losing to a different team. MIA is on a good run too 3-0. which im 2-1 on. so, hard spot to back them on a 4-0 run, esp. since they are part of the 2 worst. weird spot for all 3 teams imo. so just gonna stick with a low risk high reward parlay.
at a point so far where im almost half way to a goal mark, based on units, and only 2 weeks in. so main focus is to stay above that 2000 mark. if i go below, i will revert back to ML plays only, most likely at lower limits till i start a good run again. in order to conserve on this early success. bad spot to start backing for any considering. new plays and limits available. so volatile area ahead.Comment -

changed my mind and decided to allow RL plays as well at this stage. they can be beneficial especially in situations like this where 1 leg of a parlay is complete the 2nd is looking good, its gonna come down to the 3rd pick and its the one im most unsure about so im gonna put my self in spot to either lose .5 units or make 240.

I like miami at +192 especially how hamel has been pitching. Texas game I was eyeing orgando hard but lackey has pitched very well with 2.96 era and averaging a strikeout per inning pitched. Baltimores bats are hot they will out hit Houston and probably sweep the series. I like St. Louis as well they are hitting well.
I like all them with Texas being the coin flip. Do they bounce back after getting bea down tonight or rollover for the series?Comment -
