Well put. I've learned this, especially in MLB more than any other sport. Don't bet on the Mets today just because "they won't get swept" theory.

Is anyone familiar with the bettting system in the book trading bases?? Its a good read, looks like a pretty solid system with ALOT of statistis thrown in. What it does is pretty accurately predict the chances of a team winning or losing, and then you place a bet if your percentage is different from what the betting lines percentage is. Not sure if im doing my math right, so if anyone else out there can back me up on that im getting the right numbers using this strategy from trading bases, itd be much appreciated.
