One of my good friends was there supporting his wife running. Thought he was messing around when he text me that explosions were happening...or being metaphorical. Thankfully everyone is ok.

Yes, it's terrible...yes it's a tragedy...yes it's allover the news. 45 or so people are murdered every single day in this country. They are all in our prayers. but people like you only react to what you see on the news...shock affected. It's a sad state of affairs but according to logic from people like you, we should spend our entire waking lives with flags half way up and with solemn minds.

I don't know where you get all that from. I'm commenting about the lack of sensitivity from the people making childing comments about something serious. 45 or so people murdered daily? Interesting statistic. Bombs going off at a huge public affair in downtown of a US capital is a pretty big deal.
