this team will be mediocre at best.. virtual certainty to miss playoffs...

if CC is off, (already) this team has no hope,,

    there was little hope anyways...

How many times in history has it been wise to say the most storied franchise in all of sports, will not be in first place at some point?

The Yankees are far better than the Lakers and the comparison is mute, no offense. The Yankees could literally go buy EVERY SINGLE top player in the league if they wanted to because of the lack of salary cap. They could possibly have a starting rotation of King Felix, Sebathia, RA Dickey, and Verlander, if they made the money look sweet enough.

It would not surprise me if the Yanks finish last in the AL East. If you would have said that a year ago, people would laugh, now it is a real possibility.

You're an idiot for trying to compare a baseball team to a basketball team. I am saying the Yankees are his Lakers of the MLB because he hates both teams.
