like it...all the ones we've come up with so far fall under the umbrella of

"betting and forgetting beats betting and fretting"...when the game is over u get fun of the diversion you had (the bike ride, the bonk, the round of golf, the movie, even working for the man...) AND the anticipation/surprise of the game's result...sure as hell beats nervous-nelly scoreboard/game watching, especially with today's level of salaries (high) and mastery of fundamentals (low)...last three innings of a game with your team ahead are so excruciating cuz reliable closers are almost non-existent these days...wouldn't you (and the people/expensive appliances in your house) really rather be better off if you just did something you enjoyed instead?
