Don't see any lines yet. I'd guess around +120 or so? In any event, loving the Giants in this spot. Lince has actually found a rhythm and has plenty of big-game experience, SF had a ton of opportunities on Wednesday but couldn't do dick with RISP, Wainwright's struggling, Motte unavailable, Giants don't want to go down 3-1, etc.

Small sample size since it's out of the bullpen, but Lincecum has given up 1 ER and 3 hits with 9 K's in 8.1 postseason innings so far.
Wainwright has given up 4 or more runs in five of his last eight starts, and in two postseason appearances, he's allowed 7 runs and 13 hits in 8 IP.
I'm not expecting the Giants to pound Wainwright or Lincecum to be lights-out by any means, but at +120 or better, I'm biting.Comment -
Wainwright has been a bit erratic for the past month or so but lincecum has been erratic all season.
IMHO the pitching is somewhat of a wash. It comes down to the bats, and St Louis is just the better hitting team even with Beltran probably not playing.

if you made me play it id prob take sf,,,if timmy in control doubt cards hit him much, waino needs a vacation as his stuff hasnt been as good the last month, prob wore down being 1st yr back off tj and all (how many days rest is he on? id like to see him get some extra time before next start).... i mean you still puttin a lot of faith in a guy that has had serious issues all yr but mainly this series has a 7 gm feel to it (as do most stl series) to me and only way they get to a gm 7 is if sf wins today (hopefully im wrong and cards wrap it up in 5 but i doubt it)...Comment -
i would say over has a nice ring to it as i think the odds of both these guys being on their gms at this point in the season are slim but that rain brought some significantly cooler temps with it and i imagine it be quite chilly for gm tonight which not good for a over....
NC if you on sf for series im not sure why you even wanna get involved in this one? it be like a double whammy if you bet sf today and they lose as you can pretty much rip up a series bet at that point as well...
like i said it really not cards style to win this gm, only way i could even justify playing them is that im pretty sure they win 1 of next 2 so i could take easy way out and bet them both...lol...Comment -

No I watched his relief apperances and he topped out at 91. He is throwing his changeup, which looks really good, at 84. He did strike out over a batter per inning this year. He might be able to give the giants a solid 5 or 6 innings but I wouldn't expect anything more than that.Comment -

i played 1st 5 over 3.5.....figure between both these teams there been about 100 runners stranded in this series and stl been hitting below the mendoza line since they scored their 6th run in gm1 that 1 of these 2 pitchers bound to get tagged (if not both), this isnt 2010 after all!!!Comment -
