I owe this guy a beer ... Saved my day with that grind-it-out victory. Faced break point after break point and didn't fold.

Judging by the scoreboard, there were some pretty close matches today. I went 1-1 on third-set tiebreakers. I normally don't have more than one bet a week come down to a third-set tiebreak, but two today. Lots of nail-biting going on in the tennis gambling world today. lol.

I had ito for a nickel myself, thinking -245 was a low price against an unproven qualifier.

But boy he Squeezed every bit of entertainment value out of a match with a guy who has never sniffed an ATP victory.

Doesn't surprise me a bit. If Ito could beat Stepanek a few weeks ago, he could beat Melzer. Melzer has been on my blacklist longer than Fat Dave. lol.

To me, the joke is that Ito could play like such garbage against a nobody who may never win a single non-qualifying ATP match. Ito should've rolled that guy in straights, but because we bet on it, the gambling gods decided to make us sweat out a three-set match with a tiebreak at the end

Oh well. That's tennis for you ...
