Gasquet doesn't look to be in good form at all. He may lose 3-0

Why would you take Gasquet here? It just makes no sense. Excuse me for asking halfway thru the match but I can't find one good reason anyone should've backed him.

Ferrer is a beast, A total athlete. Like the german word "wille", total will to win and incredible physical conditioning. One of the few real warriors in tennis. I would rather wager on Ferrer than most teams in any sport. I just hate losing wager on people that quit, when you lose money on Ferrer, it is not for a lack of will or stamina.
His career has been amazing with the fight like a Jimmy Connors but in an era of greats like Federer , Nadal and Djokovic. Its amazing he has been able to accomplish what he has without a strong first serve, an incredible career.

Richie is a waste of talent; terrible attitude and typical Frenchie.

Lets not turn this into anti- french fest guys, give credit to Ferrer here. The French had tons of players make it deep into this tourney. I save my disgust for the really pathetic tennis nation, my nation, the United States. US tennis is abysmal.

Ferrer owns Gasquet. Tonight and in the past. That's all i'm saying. Ferrer was the easiest bet of the night. That's why I'd like to know what this guy was thinking telling us to "Mark it down"

In this day and age of massive yetis like Del Potro, Raonic, Berdych.....its absolutely stunning how Ferrer at his size can not only win but give a beat down like he did today. He's listed at 5'9 but thats with Tom Cruise shoes on....David cant be a shade taller than 5'8....simply amazing.

I've met Ferrer, 5'7 at the most. Any man or woman in todays game has to start at 6'0 to even have a chance at that first serve. Serena was actually small at 5'9 or 5'10 but she is built like a brick house, total power. The days of people like Connors , Rod Laver, King, Henin or Evert are probably over. Federer,Nadal, Djokovic, Sharapova, Azarenka, and Kvitova are probably the future. Its amazing what a guy like Ferrer can do without that strong first serve.

I totally agree with you. Today's game focuses too heavily on the powerful service game. That's why I enjoy it when guys like Ferrer and Nishikori outlast their opponents with solid groundstrokes, conditioning, and sheer determination.
