Yes I was joking..But would not be surprised if some english bookie had offered one. If I were them though, I would offer a crapton of props on this one match alone to drum up biz. Wonder if the suits at the All England will put it on Centre Court? Talk about some great publicity..

haha at first I assumed it was a joke but then I thought the same as you: some English bookie probably hung props on the draw and maybe you jumped on

I'm sure the organisers will milk this for all they can. There's no way this was a coincidence when the field's this large.

TBH, the odds of this match being drawn again were so slim that it makes me doubt whether it was a fix.

I reckon it would have drummed up more interest if they were both drawn against some clay court scrubs in R1, then met in R2. At least that way both guys would have won a match rather than facing the agony of going out in R1 in a potential marathon.
