Even though I hope Federer can upset Djoko in the semis, I can't see a finale other than Djoko vs Nadal.. I'm tempted to play the YES, still at -117 now

Well, since yisman told me that my future play on DJOKOVIC +275 is a bad bet, surely he must be all over this? Come on yisman, you know you want to bet a farm

I already said I'm going to try and bet it. What do you mean?

If I could bet it at Pinnacle, I'd bet there. Since I can't, I'm going to try and bet it with MexicanStallion.

Oh alright, I thought that was a joke Good luck man, hopefully we can both win it... and we can, as long as Nadal doesn't make it to the finals

My feeling, as I've said, is that both Djokovic and Nadal are overpriced.

They are the two most likely winners, but...

              5 Dimes lines:

              Rafael Nadal -105Novak Djokovic +200

              Next is Federer at 16/1.

So why not just take the 5 most likely dogs to win at those odds? Risking half a unit on each is not that much but can get you a nice return if you are correct... Or is there not enough value in doing so?

There's a lot of vig in betting these markets. You're better off finding a prop bet against the player(s) in question than to bet a whole bunch of futures.

You see this especially with the longshots. I've never seen them fairly priced.

I agree that Djoker/Rafa is likely to happen, but I also agree that it is way overpriced at -117. That is a 12 match parlay that pays out at less than even money in a sport where injuries and schedule changes and wreck havoc. If I were to take that bet I wouldn't be able to enjoy the tournament at all.

                    Good luck with your bet.

Exactly. You're better of parlaying them match by match, and sticking the full return on the next match if you believe they will both reach the final.

Djokovic has a potentially tough 3rd round vs Del Potro, and a SF vs either Ferrer or Federer (potentially) and if Soderling gets his game together, he potentially meets Nadal in the QF.

Of course it could turn out that both players get a complete cakewalk draw, and are no bigger than -1000 for any of their matches up until the final. But with the matchups that are likely to happen, you'd be getting a much better price by backing each man as they progress through the draw.

Not the best odds ever, but I wouldn't call this terrible if you've paid close attention to tennis recently.
I agree everything can happen in sport, but I just can't see Djoko or Rafa being defeated by another player, they're just a big step ahead of the other top players especially on clay, including Federer.
