Not sure how 'sick' Nadal is but a couple hours after getting knocked out of the singles he's... playing his double match with F.Lopez!!! I would really love to see Rafa's post game interviews for both matches! He isn't leaving himself any 'sickness' excuses here is he?
***edit*** This isn't even Feliciano Lopez, Rafa's buddy? What's going on, why hasn't Nadal given up on doubles? It makes no sense to me.
I guess it's the finals so he decided to 'pull through' one more time.
I'm strongly considering fading Rafael for the next tournament he plays, even (especially?) if it's AO. He's close to a superhuman, but this is just asking too much of his body!Comment -
It's Marc Lopez. Rafa said in an interview earlier in the week that he was playing doubles for practice and I think also because Lopez is a friend/countryman so he wanted him to win the title which they did. He joked after their 1st doubles match that he didn't even need to be there because of the team they played, saying Lopez can win most matches with minimal help from him.Comment -

Stepanek really fukked you good. Broke back to 5-5 and then got broke and served out to lose 6-3, 7-5. If he would have gone to a tie break, he could have cashed that over and pushed the handicap. Guy had no answer for Soderling's serve and probably deserved to lose 6-3, 6-4.
