    Tennis book
Anyone interested in a points based book in the forum? I'd be willing to run it on my own numbers, so often you'd get better prices than pinnacle. Worse juice than pinnacle I think, cos of the 1% SBR points tax. Perhaps -108 lines? (ie 96% payout compared to Cris/Diamond 93.5%).

Obviously keep things small at first so no danger of over-exposure, no massive parlays etc.

Just thought I'd float the idea, a little fun thing for the forum.

Interesting. As long as you have a massive amount of points, I don't see why I wouldn't go through you. Placing bets in SBR book is takes too long you have to relog in and everything. But the prices would have to be better obviously. And I'm not talking about -110 instead of -115.

I'd be interested in this although I admittedly don't bet much in the Book as it is. Mind you that could be because half the time the matches I want to bet aren't even there.

Yeah, have to figure how many matches I could do - obviously at latter stages of tournaments it's not a problem.

Would appreciate any ideas or comments from anyone here btw - it seems this would be a nice something to build more of a forum community (and test my linesmaking skills!).

I might take yisman up on the funding thing, that would mean it wouldn't have to be mickeymouse stakes at first (I only have around 500pts myself). Then again, maybe small stakes is a good idea anyway just to test things out.

Hrrrm, well I do %s for most matches anyway, so shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I ran a tennis book before the rake fees came in. I allowed people to use lines from I think four different books, and parlays allowed.

I took some big hits but wound up up a little, I think, after a few months.

Ahh thanks, didn't know that - will look at your old threads.

Don't think it would be workable to allow bets on pinnacle odds with the new rake fees I guess? You'd only just cover them and barely.

Then again, obviously saves all the problems of line movements/fixes and so on, which will be hard to handle with manual odds.

I probably would've taken a loss with Pinny ML and you for sure would.

                        I limited the books.
Moneyline bets using lines only from the following books from SBR Lines: 5 Dimes, Bet Phoenix, and BetOnline.

Spread and total bets from Pinnacle and BetUs as well.
People used me anyway because I had much higher limits than the standard poster books (which would limit tennis bets to smaller amounts than other sports).
