cuz the isner match went for 3 days and had 130+ games in the 5th set.

not trying to get in an arguement, but there will never be a better match.

Glad Verdasco won since I had money on him, just seems like Ferrer cant get over the hump, seemsto lose more of these long matches than he wins.

Hopefully this at least erases the perception of Verdasco as a quitter, because he isn't one.

a long match does not equal a great match. yes, i saw highlights from that one in the news. just two big servers holding serve easily over and over and over again. that's not a great match, that's a long match. this was a great match. there's a difference

ferrer didn't choke. He played great, but was outplayed. Verdasco dictated the majority of the points down the stretch, Ferrer's defense couldn't save him this time. I guarantee you didn't watch the match. I sat here and watched it for 4 hours. Don't come in here with your bs.

I completely disagree and think that's one of th emost overrated matches ever to be played. Nothing will ever come close to Fed Nadal final at wimbledon. Nothing. Mahut is a challenger's player bro.

yes, Federer-Nadal at wimbledon was also the best match I've ever seen. But this one is definitely in my top 10.

one of my favorite matches of all time was the Nadal vs. Verdasco match... I believe it may have been in the French Open but I can't remember... great match, nonetheless.

What about the 2001 Wimbledon Final-Goran IvaniĊĦević vs Patrick Rafter.I remember it vividly. It was played on monday (sunday was a washout)and the atmosphere was "davis cup" like, went to 5 sets and had everything you could of asked for.Personally the best match Ive ever seen.

Definitely not a quitter, if anything he tries too hard and that's what gets him in trouble. Needs to learn to better control his emotions, but he'll always be one of my favorites after the battle against Nadal. Still it's tough to bet on him, been driving me crazy this year.
