So basically I wasted $2400 in many roundabout ways and if I would've avoided this play and just doubled my other stress free plays, I'd be in the same position as I am now.
All I can say is better than a minus sign! You know you would of been pissed if you hadn't covered and he lost like he probably should have. You were right in your earlier post, it never should of come to that, he shouldn't of been in that position to even go to five sets. Glad you came out ahead though! He is clearly exausted and got lucky so might be a good play on his opponent in the next round.

ah ok. so you had him in parlays as well.

i was just wondering cos he was like -500 to start with so it would have been pretty hard for you to cover yourself if you just backed him as a single!

I just noticed awhile ago someone asked me in my thread about Stosur but that's when I was away from my computer and didn't have a chance to post my 2nd block of plays. I was actually on Kanepi, only because I caught an interview with Stosur late last night here where she was saying that she's still pretty devastated about losing the French and she knows her game isn't really the best for grass. If I hadn't have seen that, I more than likely would've backed her or stayed away altogether but when a player is sounding that unconfident before a first round match, it's usually a bad sign. Now that I see you had her too, I wish I'd made it to my computer in time.

Yeah I would just expect Stosur to pull out a first round match. It's pretty crazy that she and Schiavone both lose in the first round after playing in the French finals. Stosur has had a really nice year. Verdasco is about to lose so that is gonna suck as well. Looks like it will probably a break even day tennis wise.
