Thanks, it should be rock solid play. BTW tennis has been solid for me since I started tracking it (start of grass season)

ATP (Aegon International) – 14.06.2010, 18:00 CET Single Dime (3 units): Giovanni Lapentti (ECU) – Fabio Fognini (ITA)
Theoretically speaking Italian player is definitely better quality-wise, especially that he's ranked inside Top100, while his opponent is drifting between 200th-300th places right now. Of course it can't be denied, what's more Fognini has played a lot more games in the circuit this season, although I'm pretty sure that surface and both players abilities to play on it, will be a X-factor and will decide of the outcome in this match-up. Generally speaking Fabio hasn't been in best form during 2010 year, being only 7-15; he was struggling even on his beloved claycourt (6-10 record) and has won only three out of last ten games in European clay. That's bad, especially that he's coming to Eastbourne from Kosice challenger, where he got beaten by Mecir in three sets, who's outside Top400 right now. To be honest I expect him to struggle a lot more on grass because he's got no weapons to play on faster surfaces and has never been legit on it. Statistics are clear in here: he's 1-5 on hardcourts this season and was 1-5 on grasscourts during 2008 and 2009 years. It's all different with Ecuadorian player because unlike his older and better known brother Nicolas, he prefers faster courts instead of claycourts. He's rather typical challenger player, although he ain't exactly a newcomer in the circuit - he played seven games last season. He was rock solid during Aegon Championship qualifyings last week, where he won against Witten and lost against extremely dangerous Mahut after three sets, so adding the fact he's a qualifier in here (defeated Siljestrom, Golding and Gimeno-Traver), he should be in solid form and be prepared to the surface. It's difficult to accustom to grass, so especially that Fognini has typical claycourts moves and it's his first appereance on grasscourt in 2010, I expect him to start slowly and make a lot of unforced errors. There's also another really important factor between these two, considering that surface because Lapentti possesses strong serve, which will give him loads of easy points, while Fabio ain't capable of serving Aces and he'll have more problems with holding his service games certainly. Maybe these odds aren't high, though I can't see any other result than Giovanni win.

ATP (Aegon International) - 14.06.2010, 13:00 CET Single Dime (3 units): Eduardo Schwank (ARG) - Denis Istomin (UZB)
I think that there's no need for long preview for this game because one fact is clear and will be the most important in here. Istomin is highly overestimated by the public after his solid run in Aegon Championship last week, where he won two games and won a set against Nadal, though I wasn't so impressed by Denis performance, especially that Spaniard showed his lack of form against Lopez in next round. Of course he's got solid serve and consistent game for this surface and that's why he's definitely favorite of this match, although I doubt that he's capable of covering that large spread. It's difficult to beat -5 games for everyone on grasscourt, while Istomin isn't a world-beater surely. I suppose that Schwank is a bit underrated as well because although he's Argentinian, he isn't typical claycourter. Of course he feels best on that surface, however he's already shown that faster surfaces aren't a problem for him. He possesses quite solid serve and definitely shouldn't be broken more than once per set. +5 games spread is huge, so with @ 1.962 price I have to try it because it should be something like +3.5 games in here in my opinion.

I hope that Lapentti will reduce loss, though after such a bad analysis as for Schwank, my today confidence is poor

ATP (Aegon International) - 14.06.2010, 18:00 CET Single Dime (3 units): Dudi Sela (ISR) - Kevin Anderson (RSA)
The truth is that tall players with good abilities on grasscourt have got big advantages over claycourters or even hardcourters (not every hardcourter knows hot to deal with moving on grass), although I suppose that in here Anderson is really overestimated, especially that it's proven he's not in best form, which also means he ain't unbreakable right now. Of course he possess extremely powerful serve, being 203cm player although it wasn't so efficient of late because in both appereances on grasscourts in 2010 he was rather mediocre. He lost in second round in Nottingham challenger (defeated Tomic) and to be honest his loss against talented though inexperienced Berankis ain't impressive; he was also easily broken by Benneteau (5-7 3-6) in Aegon Championship, struggling heavily against Dent in first round as well. I think that Sela should easily deal with his big serve, while in every other aspect of tennis, he's way better player. He's got solid technique and although he isn't maybe powerful, he knows how to play on that surface, having nice slices and tricky shots. He was good enought to upset Roddick, who's got one of the best serves in the circuit, so I think he'll have some chances to break Kevin as well. Of course Andy's form wasn't best, though such a display will be enough for Sela certainly. By the way earlier he won against Guccione and Muller, who're known as big servers (Guccione possesses one of the best serves in men tennis). Dudi is already experienced to play against such players on grass this year, so he shouldn't have bigger problems. He also leads h2h 1-0, though it won't be important as it was played on hardcourts, three years ago. I expect something like 7-6 6-4 for him (in straight sets), so this odd is valuable.
