Yeah, playing Serena is the only thing that is making me have some confidence in her. But playing an Aussie in Australia is a big ask of anyone. Especially when we're talking about Stosur because she's the only decent hope this country has at the moment. The crowd is boisterous at the best of times. On a Saturday night it's going to be insane. Oh and remind me to PM you about a kid by the name of Dane Kelly.

Bicks- I have a very bad history with Stosur. I can never get a good handle on her because her mind's a mystery. And I don't do the value thing when I bet. If I think odds are wrong, like Makarova today, I'll jump on. But I think these odds are a close approximate of Kvitova's chance here. I'm just trying to figure out whose brain I trust more. I should be smart, realise these are WTA players and just pass altogether.

I'm where you're at on Stosur-Kvitova for Melzer-Baghdatis. My heart is with Baghdatis, dunno why but I have always liked the dude ... but my mind says Melzer is more consistent although his game is boring as fukk. Think that is also why I like Baghdatis, the Cypriot flair.

It was very tough for me to hit submit on the bets I made on Melzer purely because Baggy is one of my favourite players. But these odds are just wrong and I think a pretty good indication that Baggy is loved by a lot of people. Everyone knows he seems to bring his best to Australia but I honestly haven't seen it this week. Even during the DelPo match. I would've loved to back him here but I just can't. Although I'm aware I'll be in the minority on this one.

Aruba- don't even joke about going all in. I'm taking a shot here. I wasn't even going to post my bet but haven't posted many of mine the past few days so I thought I'd out this one out there.

Bicks- I know basically nothing about doubles. EP and beefcake follow them though so I'm sure they'll help you out.

I don't know shit about mixed doubles, but I will say based on experience that fading any duo based on the fact that one of them played a singles match earlier in the day - be it a hard fought win or loss or whatever - has NO bearing on the doubles match. You can hide a lot of problems with one player with a competent partner.

Shari I think this is a huge match for Baghdatis' season. We all know the well documented workout regimen and better fitness BS. But if you flame out in the 3rd round of a major against a guy who realistically, he can beat, your fitness BS doesn't mean shit.

Well they've upped the handicap to 4 here for Kvitova and dropped the hook on the total. It's now 21. Money is pouring in on Sam which isn't surprising for an Aussie book.

I ended up getting her at $2.72 but only for a bit. Going to live bet this one. Normal size play on the +4 and half unit on the over as usual.

Well, they just bumped it to 10 at Sportingbet and I think I'm still going to jump on for some action only. It could be my dislike for Tonic that is blinding me but I honestly don't see how he hangs in there with Nadal. The real bet was Nadal 3-0 when it was $1.44 but that's dead now. It's $1.16.
