Australian Open 2020 - Women's Singles Contest

Entry fee is 15 POINTS paid to me. The first round starts on Monday January 20th 11:00am LOCALLY. As in Australian Eastern time. Go figure it out or stop crying with your complaints. Aussie Open = Aussie time ffs.

You'll have until that time to enter your bracket for the entire tournament. Keep in mind that you'll be choosing the winner of each match from the first round until the final before the first match goes off so leave yourself some time for deciding your picks. Entries will only be accepted via the Tennis Channel so that all of us can keep track of where we're at without having to worry about time differences.

As for scoring we'll use the Tennis Channel's to make it as simple as possible.

I did some research yesterday and found some good places to donate, used two thus far. bigger donation to the one for animals. I did see a bunch that delt directly with koalas, but I donated to the one that does all wild life and and also abandoned pets. pets being a closer issue to my heart. (thinking dogs here) I care more about the animals since I hate people, but still donated to a people cause.

I'll talk to Sam about it and hopefully we can get something going. Also if you search for Celeste Barber she's an Aussie who started a fundraiser and it's at close to $40 million already. She's working with the Royal Fire Service and various wildlife organisations to distribute it the best way possible including to services that deal with the PTSD emergency workers and volunteers are already facing. At least that way charities that pay heavy admin and management fees to employees won't soak up all the cash.
So many Americans have contributed money already and US celebrities have been using their platforms to bring attention to the fundraiser as well. Very very generous and everyone is so grateful for all the help from overseas

why do u say the points don't matter if he is a non pro? sammy was a pro before and has 500 points maybe the plan for him is to win one of the tennis contest to get to 3000 points and renew his membership that way

I raised it because I actually sat there and thought about it for a minute... I paid over 10k I think to a fantasy contest because some scrub got banned and people are putting in 10 points here to win up to 2500!!! I've been running the forum equivalent of a soup kitchen here for years I think

I promise 15 points is as high as it'll go until 2022
