    US Open Contest 2019 - Men's Singles
Entry fee is 10 POINTS paid to me. The first round starts on Monday August 26th 11:00am LOCALLY. Go to a time zone converter and find out how that converts to your time if need be! You'll have until the start of the first matches to enter your bracket for the entire tournament.

Keep in mind that you'll be choosing the winner of each match from the first round until the final before the first match goes off so leave yourself some time for deciding your picks.

Entries will only be accepted via the Tennis Channel so that all of us can keep track of where we're at without having to worry about time difference. The draw will take place on August 22nd and you can start entering your picks as of 4pm EST that day.

Here is the link to our private contest if you'd like to pre-register now: https://www.tourneytopia.com/Racquet...6/default.aspx

Remember you'll need to separately register for the main contest if you want to be eligible for that one also!

If you have to use a name different to your username here for whatever reason, please send me a PM so I know who to match up with who!

As for scoring we'll use the Tennis Channel's to make it as simple as possible.

First Round correct picks receive 1 point
Second Round correct picks receive 2 point(s)
Third Round correct picks receive 3 point(s)
Fourth Round correct picks receive 5 point(s)
Quarterfinals correct picks receive 10 point(s)
Semifinals correct picks receive 20 point(s)
Finals correct picks receive 30 point(s)

Finally, the prizes have been generously donated by SBR and again the top 10 will be paid!
    1st place - 2500 BetPoints
    2nd place - 2000 BetPoints
    3rd - 1500
    4th - 1000
    5th - 750
    6th to 10th - 300

Good luck everyone and if you have any questions let me know!

Good stuff as always! Did great in Wimbeldon (third in both) but am still lacking a first place, hope to rectify that soon!

Another quick pick entry for me.

It's pretty consistent. Last place every time.

Anderson is out, Lorenzi takes his place. So, when you pick Anderson to advance, you are picking Lorenzi instead.

Well 85%+ of people have Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer in Final Four it seems. And for the fourth spot, the two most picked were Tsitsipas and Thiem and third (a tie) was Bautista - all three of whom lost in Round 1! Meaning very few, even perhaps no one, is going to get the fourth spot in the final four correct.

So this may actually come down to who is correct more in the early rounds, given how similar the picks are in the later spots. Of course if one of the Big Three loses before the Semifinals, one of the few who picked the proper person to upset them might surge forward. But still seems like after first three or four rounds it may be largely decided given the likelihood of the top people then having the same picks down the stretch.
