Wimbledon Contest 2019 - Men's Singles

Entry fee is 10 POINTS paid to me. The first round starts on Monday July 1 at 11:00am LOCALLY. Go to a time zone converter and find out how that converts to your time if need be! You'll have until the start of the first matches to enter your bracket for the entire tournament. Keep in mind that you'll be choosing the winner of each match from the first round until the final before the first match goes off so leave yourself some time for deciding your picks.

Entries will only be accepted via the Tennis Channel so that all of us can keep track of where we're at without having to worry about time difference. The draw will take place on June 28th but if you'd like to pre-register before that you can now do so here: https://www.tourneytopia.com/Racquet...4/default.aspx

Remember you'll need to separately register for the main contest if you want to be eligible for that one also!

If you have to use a name different to your username here for whatever reason, please send me a PM so I know who to match up with who!

As for scoring we'll use the Tennis Channel's to make it as simple as possible.

Quarterfinals correct picks receive 10 point(s)
Semifinals correct picks receive 20 point(s)

Finally, the prizes have been generously donated by SBR and again the top 10 will be paid!

1st place - 2500 BetPoints
2nd place - 2000 BetPoints
3rd - 1500
4th - 1000
5th - 750
6th to 10th - 300

Hmmm, Coric withdrawal modifies the draw, as he was seeded. Coric will be replaced in the draw by Berrettini (vs Bedene). In Berretini place will be replaced by Struff, who becomes seeded as 33 (vs Albot). And Struff place will be taken by lucky loser Schnur (vs Baghdatis).

Problem is, bracket site still shows old draw. And if it changes, all previous entries would be screwed. So, how will it work?

ATTENTION TO ALL regarding Coric withdrawal: In the event that a player withdraws from the Tournament after the draw has been completed but prior to the commencement of the Tournament, any Predictions for the withdrawn player will automatically be changed to Predictions for the alternate player who replaces the withdrawn player in the draw. Berrettini replaces Coric in draw Struff replaces Berrettini Schnur is LL and plays Baghdatis

So, if you pick Cilic, you are getting the points if Berretini advances. If you pick Berretini, you are in fact picking Struff. And if you pick Struff, you are getting Schnur.
