Johnson -7 over Almagro
I don't usually take such big favorites but Almagro had to withdraw from the French Open due to an injury. He came back a couple weeks ago but played some scrub players in the tournament and actually lost to 2-6, 2-6 to the #518 player. Make sure the book you're playing with will pay you if a player withdraws.

Ramos Vinolas -5.5 over Istomin
Denis Istomin is now my favorite player to fade. He's only beaten 1 top-100 player in months and he looks like a pu$$y.

Haider-Maurer +6 over Donskoy
In spite of his #100 ranking, Donskoy has been playing much lesser players and hasn't beaten a top-100 in months. I think Haider-Maurer can keep this one close

Copil +7 over Tsonga
This is more of a bet against Tsonga. I don't believe he will put in enough effort to win by more than 7. He hasn't been winning by that margin much at all. Copil has been keeping his matches within that number.

Kokk -4 over Tipsarevic
Kokk has been springing up a winner in a lot of recent matches, impressing the ladies. Tipsarevic has had good success in with the lower-tier players in Asia but has only beaten a couple top-100 players.

Coric -2.5 over Vesely
This is more of a bet on Coric's newfound confidence from his win against Isner last week.

Peterson -1.5 Allertova
I almost went with Peterson against #179 Kato. Peterson lost the first set 6-7 but came back strong in the next 2.

Gavrilova -6.5 over Kiick
Gavrilova beat #41 Kristyna Pliskova less than a week ago. Kiick is barely a pro and lost 0-6, 1-6 against #124 Gibbs.

Maria -5.5 over Kratzer
Another seasoned professional playing an 18 year old who is barely a pro.

Goerges -5.5 over Beck
Beck has a horrible recent record losing by an average of over 9 games in her last 4 matches.

Stephens -5 over Vinci
Riding the Sloane train again. Vinci is looking old and lost 3-6, 1-6 to Linette at New Haven.

Thanks for the input. Well aware of the country rivalry between the two. I just can't get past the utter shutdown by Beck in her last 4 matches. Maybe she'll be pumped because it's her country mate opposite her and she will also want to do well because it's a major tournament. It will be interesting to see.

I'm guessing it's because of Bellucci's success in Austria last month. He beat #70 and #53. Brown beat Bellucci last month so you may have a point that Brown should be favored here.

Brown beat him on clay, which is his least favorite surface (he lost to an unknown 3 days later) and Bellucci's favorite. H2H 3-0 and Bellucci is a notorious choker (I'm from Brazil, so I follow him closely). He also sucks on fast surfaces. Not really a fan of Brown, but I threw 2.5 units on him.

Just a correction in my post, H2H is actually 2-1, but the one Bellucci won was at the Olympics. Brown was leading 6-4, 4-5 and serve and had to retire due to injury, so it's virtually a win.

And I like your Thompson pick, fading Sock has been a good plan lately!
