    Bautista Agut -110 over Monfils
I couldn't believe this line when it came out. I'm guessing it's because Monfils beat #9 Nishikori. This doesn't impress me as Nishikori has struggled in recent tourneys even with much lower ranked opponents.

Bautista is on a tear, handling his opponents in straight sets including dominating them in the 2nd set of this Coupe Rogers Tournament.

Alex Zverev -110 over Nick Kyrgios
Kyrgios is getting much love with this line based upon his results in this tournament. His last match he beat Lorenzi 6-2, 6-3. However, Lorenzi hasn't played all that well losing 3 out of the last 4 matches in previous tournaments. Kyrgios has also had problems finishing tournaments retiring in 3 straight before this one.

Alex had a tough time with Gasquet who played well and that is affecting this line as well. I believe Zverev is a much better player than Kyrgios.

Square bet of the day (hey, they've been working so far)-

Mugu over Barty/Pliskova over Osaka Parlay -120
I don't see Osaka beating #1 Pliskova and even though I bet on Barty on Wednesday she struggled to eke out a victory. Mugu has been lights out, only losing to #3 Madison Keys at Stanford.

I had same thoughts about agut. Staying away from kyrgios match. I had leaned zverev until I saw that nick is 2-0 against zverev both wins on hard court in an ATP 1000 event and both in 2017.

I'm on Agut as well. Line is moving against us, but I think it's because the H2H is 3-0 in favour of Monfils. If you consider recent form and results, Agut should clearly be the favorite. Monfils should have lost against Nishikori, who is not in great shape either and choked a lot of opportunities to close the match.

I'm staying away from the Zverev/Kyrgios match, Kyrgios is a unpredictable punk. I'll be rooting for Zverev though, he's a better human being lol.

Thanks for the input. That certainly is something to take into consideration. I usually go on recent form, either in the current tournament or previous tournaments. Even though Zverev had a bit of a problem last match I just don't think Kyrgios is at top form.

This is one case where I think the current tournament performance by Agut is more important that performances by either player in previous tournaments.

If I had a gun to my head I would bet Zverev. He has been in excellent form lately. I just think there are better matches to bet on (like Agut). Krygios is so unpredictable and Zverev has been playing a lot of tennis lately. That combined with Zverev coming of a 3-setter and Kyrgios seems to show up to matches against him this year I am laying off. I hope you win though I am a huge Zverev fan!

I kick myself. I was going to take another square parlay with Kerber and Halep. I see Halep is cruising.

I guess I have to hold onto the hope that Kerber cruises as well and covers the -3 1/2.

I took that over too, Querrey didn't show up today, maybe he was tired after back to back tourneys. But playing the over when 2 serve bots are playing is usually a good bet.

Thanks for the input. I looked at Querrey's recent record and he has played several matches with several games. Thought he might do the same here with Anderson because I thought they were relatively equal.

I got too confident with the early matches. I can't blame myself for trying the total but I should have just let things go after the first 3.

Another square parlay comes through. Those will be more difficult the later it gets in a tournament. I may have to hold off those until the next tournaments.

Let's shake things up a bit!

I can't tell you how many I've overthought and didn't play. Most of them were dogs like Shapovalov last night and tonight. I wasn't even going to take him to win, just cover the spread.

                                                          That's betting I guess.
