With the current form, no doubt Halep deserves to replace that Kerber.

p.s. it seems like Pliskova will replace Kerber as No.1 after French Open anyway because of Kerber's failure and Serena's absence ...

Halep is a finesse player and gets blown off the court by bigger hitters routinely. She moves well and has a nice dink and dunk game but needs her opponents to make a lot of unforced errors.

I have said numerous times across the forums that I don't think Halep will ever win a major. This might be her best shot with Serena, Sharapova and Azarenka not playing.
