Please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not 100% but does she have anything to play for in the match? Thought she qualified already.

"Kuznetsova, meanwhile, will be tasked with the strange challenge of playing at a measured intensity that preserves her body for the semifinals while also competing ferociously enough so that she doesn't lose her edge. It doesn't technically matter if Kuznetsova wins—she'll finish in first place in the White Group regardless of outcome, but what would a lackadaisical loss do to the momentum she's built in the last few weeks? Surely the Russian doesn't want to find out." Copied from WTA website
So I really would not like to put any stake on this kind of match

Thanks for clarifying that.
After the last 2 matches she played, I assume she will welcome the rest so I would lean towards Mugu but you're right, too risky to play either side.

Couldn't have explained your Kutznetsova pick any better.

Muguruza 10 games in a row now...Kuznetsova is probably wanting to finish the match asap only now save energy for Semi-final

Kuzzy gave her best Davydenko impression. Complete tank job. I bet her live after the 1st set because Garbine had nothing to play for and figured she'd quit. But it was Kuz that quit. Conserving energy for tomorrow I guess.
This was only the 2nd match of Kuzzy's entire career in which she won the first set, but got bagels in the 2nd.
The match was a farce. Hard to cap when it doesn't mean anything, but even betting live I got fooled.
