Mets/Cubs:This bet is a relatively square one, and I think you know where I am going with this. Coming off decent rest after what appeared to reflect signs of fatigue for both Aces Jake Arrieta and Noah Syndergaard (Noah was pulled early 11 days ago in his last start due to admitted fatigue), you can expect a decent outing by both of these studs in relatively stable weather conditions.
It would be surprising to see neither of these two starters steal the show and benefit from their time off. I expect both pitchers to go deep into this game, and bullpens are both well rested too. Of course I prefer not to lay too much juice, so this won't be a big one.

Rangers/Angels:
We also saw how bad Kyle Lohse was in his 2016 debut, and honestly I don't think many were too surprised. However, Lohse was playing through a severe oblique strain to the extent that he could not even separate his fastball from his changeup. The trainers have spent the last couple weeks working on it, and for what it's worth, Lohse says he is good to go. I expect his veteranship to get him through this one against a tough Angels team.
The same cannot be said about Tim Lincecum, who practically no longer has a fastball...but a very predictable changeup. Even in his last start which came against the Orioles, he pitched a respectable game but still gave up 9 hits. Texas is beginning to show signs of offensive life, and Timmy will have a very thin bullpen to fall back on today.
