+games is almost always safer than +2.5 sets imo. there's always the possibility he takes a set and then gets bagled, losing the game spread, but I think the more likely scenario is him losing in straights but covering the 6 games

If I had to say which was safer i would say the +2.5 sets. You will have 3 chances obviously and once you win, you can't lose like you can with + games at the end of match. GL.
