Well if I don't see a breaks prop, my likely bet is Djokovic 1st Serve % Under 66.5 @ -120

Will wait a little bit longer to see if they put up my breaks prop or not.

And Barton should quit. Got a fortunate break when the Greek was trying to serve the match out and the F gave it right back.

Hard to imagine this dude made the semis and quarters the last 2 years and can't beat 3 guys north of 1000 to even make the draw this year.

I believe he's 23/24. He's just regressing in a bad way. Maybe it's time for him to find something else to do with his time, instead of getting beat by 16 year olds in his own backyard.

I have no faith in any American or Australian right now. Kyrgios is still young and super talented, but I'm not sure what will happen. I was saying the same thing about Tomic 2 years ago.

Americans are just a joke, no one to even mention at this time.

Kozlov will be good I believe in about 2-3 yrs when he's 19 or so. That's the next dude for the USA.

I watched Kozlov's last match against McGee. He has some skills and nice shotmaking from time to time, but no real big weapon to get excited about IMO, at least I didn't notice it in that match.

He's also almost built like a man at 16 already. He will add muscle no doubt, but he's definitely not as skinny as Dimitrov as a teenager. I hope he's good, but it's hard to see top 10 this early.

There have been so many "the next coming" already I'm getting bored with it already.

Young, Johnson, Harrison, Sock, Kudla, Klahn, Krajicek, Jenkins, Fratangelo, Donaldson, Kozlov, yadda yadda.

None of these guys have a chance at top 10 at this time. Young, Johnson and Sock will probably threaten top 20, but not any more. The last 3 have the best chance because they are so young, but give them a year and we can bunch them all together with the Smyczeks of the world.

Could you imagine if they just took Tennis away from the US and Australia. The only player that would come close to top 50 is Isner.

From what I've seen of Kozlov, he will be lucky to be a top 100 player. I've mentioned him in another thread before but skill wise he has nothing special. I can't see him consistently in the top 100 but he might be able to occasionally bounce in and out of the top 100 and be decent on the challenger tour.

Out of all the Americans, from what I've seen, Mmoh is going to be the best of the lot although even he will be lucky to crack the top 50. There ain't much talent coming out of the US at the moment. Even Tiafoe will end up better or same as Kozlov despite being well ranked below Kozlov currently.

Not to gloat of anything, but I seem to be able to identify talent quite well. Best one being Ymer who wasn't exactly considered much of a talent in his junior years but I thought he would be good when he was ranked over 800. I've also picked out Garin, Jarry, and Cachin although I was worried about Garin half way through last year when he didn't seem to be going anywhere but he ended the year well and went from 500 to about 200 in ranking.

The only two left that I picked out that are yet to shine are Mott and Choinski. Mott is finally starting to show his talent and has come close to some big wins lately. However, Choinski is a bit of a concern and hasn't quite done as well as I thought he would yet but it is still early for him.

Also in regards to Aussies coming through, Jasika will be a talent as well as Mott but outside of those two, not much coming through apart from Kyrgios and Kokkinakis.

Other talent to watch are Nagal, who will be one if not the best ever Indian player apart from Paes. Moutet from France is also seemingly a good talent but I haven't seen enough of him yet to say he will be for sure.

He's only 17 though. He's just getting started. I think he's got a good all-around game suited to all surfaces. He should develop more power as his body develops which I think is when he'll start becoming more of a threat. There aren't many kids 17-18 or under who are going to "look" like something special, unless they have a unique body type. Like a Coric who is 6'1" and has a bit more pop in his game already.

It's very difficult really to gauge these kids until they hit the ATP tour and really fully develop in their late teens/early 20s. I mean there just aren't too many prodigies in this sport who start winning early and take off.

One kid who does look like he's got a gift is this Russian kid who won the Aussie Jr. Title, Roman Safiullin.

He's like Kyrgios was during his time in Juniors when you could see the talent at the Jr. Slams that was far and above the others. This kid has that, he's already won a handful of futures events and he's 17 I believe.

Real good night to end the Aussie Open and get close to even. Pretty fair considering half-way through I was 5 or so units down on the year. Now, the grind begins.

The only reason why I think Kozlov won't be special is because his body seems quite developed already yet he has no weapon. He is just a retriever with no serve, no power, and wins by keeping the ball in the court which won't be very effective against older and more experienced players.

You mentioned Safiulin who indeed is a talent. I first saw him on clay early last year and I actually thought he would be no good but then when he hit the hard court, his game seemed completely different. Surprisingly though, the younger Ymer managed to take him down at the US Open which was a pretty big upset which I talked about in my old Ymer Thread.

He will make a run every once in a while when not expected, but this is tough to call. Certainly not a bad try as it's tough to know who will respond well after Australiy sometimes
