ATP Tourneys instead of 2 of 3 sets play best of 5 with super breaker as the 5th set?

Chicks play 2 out of 3. Men should be able to do more. Also with racket technology as it is, points normally end faster than in the past.

This would help lower our betting variance also.

No.
Court speed nowadays is much slower, that's why the rallys are longer. Best of 5 means more injuries for the players.

Terrible idea. Season is too much of a grind for that. Guys already get fatigued just from playing back to back tourneys in the best of three format. You'd have more guys skipping tournaments and the quality of play would probably be worse for the ones who grind it out all season. Format as is works just fine.

I say WTA tennis should have shootouts. A contest of getting the ball IN on serve. 5 serve shootout and then sudden death. Its penetrating brilliant I tell you.
