    2/12 on hard court.

Can he win a game? He's playing in front of his home crowd, most likely the biggest stage he'll ever be on. Against Andy Murray, a grand slam champ!

    Can he win a game??

He's actually been decent this year, won a game less than a month ago

hilarious, but seriously what else can u expect ? it's up to Murray if he wants to be nice or not... i believe Murray can win 6/0 6/0 with his left hand... this guy lost 0/6 0/6 to a guy ranked 1150 recently

But Monfils beat this guy 6/0 6/3 in january, Monfils is a generous man !!

I think that's worth a bet just for the laugh i mean the +11.5

        Hmmmm.

Not as keen on this than the one against Gasquet. Murray's movement is on another level's to Gasquet's. It's world class. He's also a much better returner, so less cheap points for this kid. Kid's not as talented as the Eygpician one and his ranking is considerably lower, which is a sign of this. Barely gets anywhere in futures.

Can he avoid the double bagel? Hmmmmm. Wouldn't bet on it personally. Many non-ranked player's have been double bageled by player's roaming around the top 100 mark. This kid has a few ranking points and is barely ranked and this is Andy Murray, not somone like Kavcic or whomever.

This kid is so crap. Literally, awful. Astonished he's even ranked. I would have beaten him back when playing competitively.

Had a feeling this was bad. He's got like 1 or 2 world ranking points, which could have even come from a walkover or retirement. He's a wildc card, I doubt he even does well at semi-professional level in juniors. Awful player.

Monfils evidently double faulted on 12 occasions. This guy lacks somany basic fundamentals to his game.

This Zayed guy is a bigger journeyman than i thought. Murray is playing on 10 %. Zayed is not even on Futures level. I don't know why they gave him a WC.

                          Summary: 2/19 0/3 2/12 - - 0/4
                          2013 1/9 0/3 1/6 - - -
                          2012 1/5 - 1/5 - - -
                          2010 0/1 - 0/1 - - -
                          2008 0/4 - - - - 0/4
Won 2 matches at futures itf level, both against player's with no world ranking. Proof anyone can get a world ranking, just means they have to folk out for travel etc... so they don't bother, this kid probably has Egypt's tennis association funding his travel. He's got zero talent though.

Trust me. I played near futures and would have beaten him back then. Possibly even now with a few months of match training.

Well you need 120 $ for Ipin and 60 $ for entry fee. It's not that much.

Player I used to hit with now and again. He would have murdered this kid and he hasn't even gotta world ranking because he decided to play American college tennis instead. Most do this to give them that match toughness. Makes more sense to do that than roam around the futures as a top 800 player. After a few years you are better prepared for the tour.

Nope, i started playing at 11. Between 16-18 (i'm 22 now) i played on Futures tournaments near my city. Then i started working as a tennis partner at a tennis club. Now i'm in college, and i'm not playing regularly.

How though? You need a minimum LTA Amateur rating of a 4.2 to enter a futures qualifer?

That's not being a journeyman then. There's no all year round ITF futures tournaments in Egypt, or most countries infact. You need to travel properly.

Not really. The qualification draw is 64 usually. If there is a free space (there always is at least 5-10), you can always enter.

You have to earn your place in Britain. I got my rating to a 5.2. 10.2 is the lowest and 1.1 the highest. It goes 10.2, 10.1, 9.2, 9.1 and so on. Zac reached a 3.1 before moving to America.
