#2453Agreed, but what's the bet? ML, spread? Also, has Delboner shook off his reputation as a bit of a choker? I recall last year, when he went on his run on clay, he beat all the top guys but would then lose to some nobody.Comment -

#2456He had 4 match points vs Fognini in Hamburg and shit the bed. He was new to the situation. I think he wins this time aroundComment -

#2458Yeah closer to match time. This could be like the Anderson/Dimitrov match. Lorenzi has obviously been a pain in the ass to decent clay players. The over might be the play again. I will look thoComment -

#2460just a heads up this is Lorenzi's first ever ATP level final. He says he's pretty pumped and excited. Delbonis has been to a final befor. This was in Hamburg. Lirenzi has the head to head at 3-0 with delbonis. However these were all challenger events. I have the feeling Lorenzi will play well, win a set but perhaps get nervous. Although at his age of 32 he may play desperate as this is probably his only chance to ever win a ATP tour titleComment -

#2461Didn't realize the guy has beaten DeBoner three times, even though it was 3 years ago. No wonder you're thinking over. But maybe tennis years are like dog years and Delboner will be able to handle him.Comment -

Delbonis ML 1.40 x 25 units*Large Wager*
I have respect for Lorenzi, so I won't touch delbonis -3.5 games. Lorenzi has beaten mainly Clay challenger opponents this year. He beat Monaco and Hass, but both these guys have been a shadow of what they were 1-2 years ago. The big diffrence between Monaco and Delbonis is the serve speed. Delbonis has been serving well and he was in this position last year in hamburg. I expect him to get it done this time. Lorenzi will be here to play, and play loose at that. I just think the talent is too much this time and I see delbonis in 2 sets.

#2468So what's the play for this match Matt? Thinking of taking the over and either to win 2-1. Anything you like with this one? Also think Lorenzi has a decent shot as well, especially with the h2h matchup. Thoughts?Comment -

#2470lol hey bud. I wouldn't suprise me if it went 3 sets, but I still see delbonis taking this. Lorenzi has the H/H but delbonis has improved big time since there last meeting. Both guys will be a little nervous todayComment -

Any thoughts on under 22 games between Chiudinelli and Sekiguchi ? Chiudinelli should dominate this.Comment -

#2472Playin' loose to lose... high stakes, medium risk, low reward.
You're discrediting the fact that Lorenzi is playing a lot better than usual currently as well, and I'm worried Delbonis may be tired... not to mention Lorenzi is clearly the bigger f*ck-face of the two.Comment -

#2473Good luck Matt!!! I love DB's game, he has got tremendous spin on those big groundies & he has been serving so well this week. I see one set maybe going to a breaker. Lorenzi is gonna fight hard for sure! He has nothing to lose... Could be a good match, the sets should be close IMO...
What's up Semper???!! Hope u have been good man, BOL!Comment -

#2474I do see it being close, but delbonis has been playing very well. Lorenzi has been playing good but he's been lucky facing guys out of form and in slumps.Comment -

#2477It's pretty clear to me it is Lorenzi's "Hollywood wins" against Haas and Monaco making him 3's.
And I totally agree Haas is well past it and it was pretty obvious on HC this year he was going to be a guy to fade on clay. And Monaco.. well it's Monaco.
Delbonis was close to perfect against Bellucci up until *4-3 in the second set. I don't think Bellucci even had a bp or a look in on his serves.Comment -
