LoL. Two games in and he REALLY wants it? He's underperformed today. These are the sort of matches that make it improbable to win the USO. Wasting hours of extra court time while the real contenders like Djokovic, Nadal and maybe Murray take care of business quickly. In retrospect, I should have skipped my try on the under. I always have a little itch with Delpo in my brain. He usually crushes first rounders in the three sets he wins ... but often has one of those WTF sets where he lets the opponent stick around just like set #2 here.

He still doesn't always seem to take advantage of easy match-ups. Seemed like his demeanor aka hot headedness was there a bit too. GGL called the trainer a few times for a leg issue and Delpo seemed rattled by it as the match went on. That and I just don't think he played all that well the whole match.

Maybe he rolls through a couple rounds now, but these are matches he needs to expend less energy on.
