Sportsbetting.com's new ownership credits another player

Sportsbetting.com new ownership has credited a player who was cheated in April of 2009 by the old management. As SBR reported in June, the BetOnline Group (SBR rating B+) purchased Sportsbetting.com (now .ag). BetOnline is in the process of clearing all outstanding payouts which were pending from the old brand. | Read more

I hope I would be the next to get a credit for confiscated balances.

This was an old complaint that I have filed already in 2009 as far as I remember, against the Sportsbetting.com group of books. They have closed my account and confiscated a very large balance including all deposits, due to a similar issue with the cheated player who has been credited by the new sportsbetting.ag ownership recently (having an account with a sister site).

Reading this through your news wire page, I thought I might have some hope still to get even a portion of the large balance confiscated, especially with the new management team have the desire to pay cheated players who filed a claim with SBR against the old Sportsbetting, as it states on the news page.

In the cheated player's case, it seems that they refunded only his deposits. In my case they confiscated everything (winnings AND deposits). At this point, I would really appreciate any help to get even a portion or even the deposits refunded, to compensate me for the utter theft. I have already filed another complaint today.

To support my case, below is the statement published by SBR on May 28, 2009, and the statement posted by Bankrollsports.com on November 29, 2008 in relation to this spicific case of theft, both of which have ruled in my favor and advised the sportsbook to pay me. Also I have an active account with betonline.ag that has been always in good standing for over 5 years now. I also still have records for most cc deposit transactions made to Sportsbetting in 2008. I would appreciate a reply from the new Sportsbetting ownership in ragards to this matter. Thanks.

Sister books, Sportsbetting.com, Racebook, and Win4Real (SBR rating C-) confiscate player's winnings and deposit

Sister books, Sportsbetting.com, Racebook, and Win4Real confiscate player's winnings and deposits
The player opened accounts at all three sportsbooks in June of 2008, depositing and playing consistently for five months. In November his accounts, which showed a profit of approximately $20,000, were frozen. The sportsbook cited a rule saying the player could only have an account at one sportsbook in the Sportsbetting.com Group. SBR has advised the sportsbook to pay the player for all wagers it booked since the player's funds were at risk. Bookmakers should have the ability to limit a player's action but should not retroactively void winning bets. Thus far Sportsbetting (SBR rating C-), Win4Real (SBR rating C-) and Racebook (SBR rating C-) have not agreed to pay the player for winning wagers, or even the winnings on the first of the three accounts joined. $9,500 in player deposits remain in possession of the sportsbook without an expla

11/29/2008: (Negative) Our staff has had to step in for two customers in order to resolve payout issues. The first of the two issues was solved and customers needs were met. He received his payout with no further delay. However, in the second of two disputes, SportsBetting.com acted in a matter that Bankroll Sports does not approve of. In this case, the customer's funds were seized by SportsBetting.com. The reason for SportsBetting.com seizing the funds was because the customer had more then one account with another affiliated book. They chose to resort to their terms of service which has a rule preventing customers from using multiple accounts to circumvent their book's limits. However, the TOS rule did not apply in this case. This book has been deducted from their reputation, service, and overall grade. We have checked them with a warning in this matter. Any future disputes could jeopardize our endorsement in this book. If you are considering using SportsBetting.com,, we still suggest that you do so. However, if you would like more information on these dispute cases, we would be happy to explain in further detail if you contact customer service

Thanks Lou, for your reply. Indeed, this is very good news for me. Having a chance to get any money back after more than 3 years of hopelss wait is something I have always considered to be impossible, especially looking at this book's black history. But, with the new management team having the desire to look into these old disputes and crediting 2 players already for their stolen balances, will now give me some hope. I will wait for any updates.

Thanks for the update. My dispute was very similar to Mrno's dispute with the same time frames. I had an original account with sportsbetting, then I opened accounts at win4real and racebook in Mid 2008 as far as I remember, and before they enforced a rule change later that year as Mrno mentioned in his previous old posts. Also I do remember talking to their management about all 3 accounts within the same phone conversation in several occasions without having any problems. It was only when I started requesting wire payouts that they closed the accounts.

They closed all 3 accounts in November, 2008 with all 3 balances confiscated including ALL DEPOSITS despite allowing players to have accounts with all 3 outfits at the time I opened the accounts. That had caused me a huge financial hardship, that affected me badly for over 2 years. I appreciate all your work and help. I still have records of all account numbers, balances and most deposits made in 2008. I can email you any information that you might need if available.
