    BOL Sets New Infamous Record
From very credible sources. BOL has sunk even lower when it comes to the dreaded delay. 90 full seconds. And still, when you ask them abt it, they pretend that you are an idiot and claim it's not true.

Ok, this is for everyone's edification, but especially for CS at BOl:

when you hit the confirmation button on your bet you get the "white page" at this point just put your cursor on the page and right click then click on "view source"

This will allow you to see how many seconds your delay is.

Now you can tell cs you learned all this info at the place that has them rated "A"

    SBR

P.S. I am not that tech savvy, but i read at other places where people are.

90 seconds is pretty lengthy Katstale, however I've seen longer (apprx 120 seconds) at some Euro books. To be honest with you I doubt that I can get this sorta stuff overturned if they implemented this type of stuff on certain players, unfortunately.

BBD, this stuff just leads to the player quitting and moving on. My peeve is the constant lying by BOL to clients. and how that can be coming from an A book?

They play these games that are normally reserved for D rated books. They typically have very convoluted math when it comes to rollover requirements and the dreaded "makeup" deposits.

In addition, if you deposit via NT they try to hold that money hostage and don't want to return it the same way.

So not thinking you can overturn any of this foolishness, just hoping they will learn they are not foolin anyone with their tired act. Just tell people to leave--don't LIE to them and expect to remain rated so high.

This is something that the gentlemen in the office could best expand upon Katstale. That is due to the fact that I have nothing to do with the SBR ratings at all.

just start calling in all your bets. they're footing the phone bills anyways.

Yeah I started hearing about delays there some time back but not 90 seconds. That's pretty bad.

I agree too that if they are being dishonest about it, that sucks. It is so pointless and weaselly. Just tell people their status. I mean, wtf?

A key question (to me): after the 90 second delay are they usually rejecting your bet and offering you a worse line?

If they start doing that it becomes very unethical. It is pretty much fraud if you are working on a rollover. They sign you up for one set of lines but then effectively switch you to what amounts to double juice or worse.

What I heard last time I talked to someone about it was that they were still letting you have your bet, like, half the time. That's very annoying but at least it's not as bad as BetJamaica who screw you virtually every time once they put you on delay/reject.

I suppose the "phone in" stuff is tongue in cheek! As I am sure you are aware that is longer than a 90 second delay.

**, i would say its abt 50/50 as to whether u are getting it or not. As you know, its just a big time pain after line shopping to have to wait that thing out. I wouldn't even have a problem if these books wanted to put that in place like 15 minutes before a game starts. Give their linesman/software a chance to get balanced, but when you are placing a bet hours before a game and you have to sit there for an eternity to see if they like the play or not--its just not worth it. They know that.

If they were smart--they would just give me my bet--then move the line accordingly after. I am happy to point them in the right direction of line movement!!! lolol Unfortunately, from what I have seen from them so far--they are not that smart. I repeat--no A rated book should be lying to its customers as a matter of practice.

you can call in a bet in less than a minute, probably 20 seconds to get the line, and then they can't change it

It seems like another book that can't decide what it wants to be.

They have certain promos and limits that are tailor-made for professionals. But they are obviously not comfortable with professional action. But they don't want to just come out and say it.

They need to figure out who they want to be - and then be that.

My personal experience there was nothing but good, but I haven't played there for awhile. More than a year, I would guess.

Not if they put you on hold by telling you they need managements approval after you tell them what your wanting to wager on.

Exactly, it ends up being alot longer than 90 seconds.

Maybe we should make a list of lies by high rated books. That would have two benefits. Players would know before depositing, and the books would be more inclined to straighten things out.

I'm glad I waited with BOL. I remember Justin didn't agree with their super fast A rating. There's something very wrong with a company if lies are accepted. Usually that runs through the entire organization. When bosses lie to employees they don't realize that the 'favor' will soon be returned. Before you know it all trust is out of the window, and invariably the business suffers.

One blatant lie by a top rated book that comes to mind: teaser lines. This book advertises great teaser odds. The best in the business. That's their choice. It will attract teaser players and increase business. But then they turn around and give out completely different lines then the one you think you're getting. A 6.5 or even 7 pt teaser may only translate into 5 pts with this book! This is not an exception, but happens with almost every teaser. I hope someone from SBR will hold them accountable, because it's a joke. The book? 5 Dimes.
