I never said it wasn't, he said it took a whole 3 weeks before he found out- that alone seems odd, really 3whole weeks for him not placing wagers on sports?

He stated he was trying to draw down his balance. I also imagine he has several other accounts with other books. I have not logged on to my bookmaker account in a month, because I have not seen a price worth betting. Just do not go around defending shady books with brain dead arguments, so I can stop making pointless posts as well. Thanks

BetOnline is notorious for this kinda bullshit, even if the so called poster is lying which is a good possibility with BO's shady past how can you not just assume the book is taking yet another stab at players funds. Kinda ironic its constantly happening at this book and not many others

betonline has a traffic of over 80k, 5dimes 38k globaly. Sites with low ranking are more dangerous. 60k is just too much money to be placed in a country where the minimum salary is $252.00 USD a month. So 60k might be enough for 20 years. Is is like 300k for an american.

Betonline was able to recover most of the money from a player who had a similar issue. If you reported it within a few days of the transferring (and dumping), there is a good chance they can track down the money.

The problem here is that it is now 6 weeks later. Once the money is dumped and paid to other players, it becomes much harder to retrieve it.

Shouldn't be a problem. BOL has never paid a winning poker player without first claiming chip dump.

If there was chip dumping involved it might have not occurred through BOL since there are other skins on their network (although you would think someone trying to move off that kind of money would have received at least some some scrutiny about how they acquired the balance)...

I have little over 40k sitting on my bol acct too.. I cashed out over 15k already.. Through p2p and checks, i check my account hourly incase of this type of shady shit. But it is dumb to leave that amount of cash in a offshore account. I will always have a cashout pending, after reading about all this shiet about bol.. I will never deposit here again.

Why would you have 40k in one book instead of having 8k in 5 books? Unless you have 40k in 5 books it makes no sense. have you check how many books are placed in the black list? It means something.

Like I said 5dimes has like 50 poker players that play there which is lame. But yeah, I haven't seen any complaints like this anywhere for RPM poker

I notified BetOnline as soon as I noticed the hacking on May 22nd, asking them to suspend my account so my remaining ~$2,500 could be saved and hopefully the lost funds could be returned. So yes they had plenty of time to start an investigation and freeze any suspicious accounts on the receiving end of any chip dumps.

Sounds similar to the Absolute Poker fiasco, where an insider hacks into accounts. Let's hope they weren't doing it to improve their cash position, considering how cashouts at BOL have been going...
