25% DSI (Diamond Sports) OKTOBERFEST special
I just spoke to a clerk whose answers left me skeptical. I'm wondering if anyone might have some relevant experience to relate.

My question was simply if I am eligible for the deal. Without checking anything, he said yes. I asked if he was sure. He said everyone is eligible. I said, "There are no conditions at all? Like if I'm up a million dollars lifetime and I just cashed out for 50K yesterday, I am eligible for this deal?"

I was being facetious but he said, "Yes."

So I have to wonder if he just doesn't know what he's talking about. I know, it's hard to imagine there could be a CS clerk in the on-line betting industry who is not fully enlightened on all matters, but that's what I have been forced to consider.

    Any experiences around this promo?

Maybe you should have asked him to double check about it with the line manager, mudcat. That way wouldn't have to speculate on this matter.

They were messin with ya Cat. There are makeup figures, etc etc which have to be considered. Now, if its been over 30 days since the last withdraw--I think that cancels all the other convoluted stuff out.

Yeah that's the kind of information I'm looking for. A 30 day rule or whatever.

Standard line for all sportsbooks in this spot:

          1) Promise and deceive.
          2) Accept deposit.
          3) Deny promotion, citing inane, conflicting or imaginary condition.
          4) Apologize for 'misunderstanding'.

          Nothing new here.

In my opinion forget the oktoberfest special.when you deposit write mike from canada at 2betdsi. Mikel@2betdsi .com

Canada mike.He will get you a 40% bonus on every reload.I have been with him for years.

The cs clerks have really been bad in the past few months,I think its a whole new crew being trained at dsi and bookmaker.Sometimes the supervisors are hard to understand.Really poor cs lately.

I got the 25% bonus, but it was for the previous month, the PRIZEPACK bonus, but basically its the same thing. Its a freeplay bonus up to $500. So the max bonus you can get is a $500 freeplay on a $2000 deposit. If you accept this bonus, there is a 5x rollover on any freeplay money you win AND ON THE DEPOSIT. In other words you can't cashout until you have rolled over your deposit and any free play winnings 5x. Even if you lose every dollar of the freeplay, you still have to rollover your deposit 5x before cashout.

I found out the hard way about the cashout issue. You can't just say "keep all bonuses and ** fees, I just want my money". They won't send it to you. You have to rollover 5x before cashout. That is what I was told.

I think this may be untrue and if I pressed it and spoke with a manager I probably could get my money but I'm not in a hurry to get it out so I didn't press the issue.

However I was also told initially that I could not have an account at Diamond since I have an account at Bookmaker. I spoke to someone else because I knew this was not right and they informed me that indeed the CS rep was mistaken.

Yeah that's the problem, right there. I've been through that. I always recommend guys get confirmation of promotions but sometimes it doesn't matter because the book will STILL deny you.

That's what I'm afraid I'm in for here. But I am not a wilting flower. I hadn't made much of an effort when I posted this yesterday - I just found my conversation notable.

But I'll dig in and get some kind of definite answer today.

Btw FWIW, I do have a contact who got this promo exactly as promised. He didn't confirm ahead of time or anything; he just deposited and requested the bonus and everything was like clockwork.

Fair to say he's not as big a player as me though.

I've had this happen to me at a book this site seems to favor, except at (3) they flat out denied having made the offer despite the fact they had confirmed the details in an email!. Oh, and (5) charge heavy withdrawal fees because I withdrew without playing after getting stiffed on the promotion!

btw I did get this promo. I called up and asked for confirmation of my eligibility and said I would do the Moneybookers deposit while we were on the phone and I (politely) asked for the clerk's name and said that I would like to see the bonus added before I got off the phone.

I don't know if doing all that that made a difference. If nothing else, it made the guy know I was serious about wanting him to be sure before I did the deposit. He did put me on hold for a moment and checked something and then came back and said go ahead.

They won't actually add the bonus while you're on the phone. They have to put in a request with a manager. No way around that. I still could he gotten bait-and-switched.

However the bonus had been added when I checked 5 minutes later.

I'm not meaning to talk about DSI like they are some kind of scam book. I consider them one of the top books. However they have taken me off their e-mailing list which made me wonder if I had attained some kind of undesirable status.

Did you ask for the promotion when you deposited and also after you deposited the same day you deposited? You have to ask for the promotion, if it doesn't appear within a couple hours make sure to call them back. If the book is offering a promotion there is no reason for them to deny it to you.

I've never in my life been denied a promotion that a book was offering. You have to ask for it and make sure its there before the day is finished.

I'm not saying your story isn't true I'm just saying its weird especially from a top book.

I usually live chat or e-mail. That way I have written proof. Its also and easy way to handle guys on the phone. "Send me an e-mail with the offer. I'll look it over."

I feel as sure as I can that his story is true. It certainly rings true with my experience.

Consider yourself lucky that things have gone so smoothly for you. Promotion denial after confirmation definitely happens at multiple top books. And once you have made the deposit under false pretenses, they give you no breaks on withdrawals.

It's very haphazard. Sometimes a book can pass back and forth between heroics and shenanigans from week to week.

I must be hangin with the wrong crowd. I never knew ANYONE that still got betpoints after playing there regular for 3 months.

                                            Clearly I am that.

I don't pretend to understand it. Something doesn't add up.

We've got Tosser saying he gets no bonuses nor BetPoints but he still gets spam.

I have been cut off the spam but still get bonuses and points.

They want him to know what he's not getting but they don't want me to know what I could be getting.
