    My Betonline Saga
As some peoples' Betonline sagas end today (good to see you other guys got your issues resolved today), mine continues on. Back in April (4/05/12 to be exact), I had to contact SBR to help me with an issue where betonline.com was manipulating my rollover requirement and rollover credit to prevent me from ever requesting a payout. In short, every time that I deposited into their book (and subsequently lost my deposit) they would never zero out my rollover requirement. Well over the 3 years I deposited and bet with their book (according to their calculations) my rollover requirement would always increase, never zero out and by the time I had won a good chunk of change with them my requirement was 51000 USD retroactive back for 3 years and never zeroing out when I lost each of my deposits. They consistently in all of their correspondence with me tried to convince me that the rollover requirement was always retroactive and stacked and was not tied to any certain deposit. Well, after a while I got tired of the runaround and contacted several other sportsbooks (bookmaker.eu; 5dimes.eu, etc.) and learned that (just as I had originally thought) rollover requirement was tied to your deposit amount and once you went to zero balance with them the associated rollover disappeared. Armed with this information I confronted BOL again only to have them insist that my calculated rollover was correct. Not only that, but I would log on day to day and see my rollover credit toward my requirement decrease EVERY DAY. Finally, I contacted SBR Lou and Co. and they got this miss settled for me. I was so elated I emailed Lou and told him I would donate 25 USD (hey, I am a medical student and have about 250,000 USD in student loans to pay off) to SBR after I got my payout.

After this, I felt more secure with BOL and wagered some more for a couple of weeks and ended up another 1000 USD on top of what I already had. Then in May, I knew that a couple of bills would be coming due in June so I decided that I should withdraw my money from BOL and start betting again when I was more financially solvent. I requested my payout via wire on 5/16/12 and was told it would probably take under a week and at most 10 days (10 business days that is). Well here it is 6/1/12, 12 business days and 10 customer service calls later and my payout is still "pending". The last straw was today when I called customer service and talked to "Will". He seemed like he was genuinely concerned about my situation, but here was the gist of my conversation with him:

Me: "This is the 11th business day since I requested my payout and you all told me at LATEST it would be Wednesday; then Wednesday turned into Thursday. When does this end?"
Will: "Let me check on that for you."
    .....10 minutes later........
Will: "I contacted the payout department and they told me to send them a message about this and they would get back to you in 24 hr."
Me: "Ohhhhh no. I am not going to get the runaround again. I have been told at least 4 separate times by you guys that this should be processed and in my account by 'at latest the next day'. Is there a number for them?"
    Will: "No"
Me: "They don't talk to people who aren't in the same building as them?"
Will: "I don't know what to tell you sir I contacted them for you and they said they would get back to you in 24 hr."
Me: "I have heard this before. What if they don't get back to me in 24 hr? Call again and do the same thing tomorrow?"
    Will: "Yes"
Me: "No that is not acceptable I need my money like YESTERDAY. I have bills coming up I need to pay."
Will: "I don't know what to tell you."

That was all I needed to hear. I contacted SBR yesterday (5/31) at about 2:30PM and requested their assistance again. I will keep you all updated on the progression of my case with BOL. My fate (and my apartment lease payment) are in your noble hands SBR!!!!!!!

As Furio from The Sopranos said to a degenerate gambler he was trying to collect from, "Betta witha your head, notta ova it."
Then he smacked him in the face.

I hope you somehow didn't read all that and come away with the false conclusion that I have a gambling problem, princecharles......sportsbetting is simply one of the ways I make money (along with eBaying collectible craft beer and posters). Just need what is owed to me. Always have been up on the books. Was up several thousand with one book before starting with betonline.ag, lost a little of that profit over the 3 years I was with them and then went up several thousand with betonline.ag. Always been in the black with sportsbooks. Money is tight when you are on student loans, however, and you need all that you can make to stay afloat.

Additionally, princecharles, please note that I had to delay the start of my year at medical school from May to July due to unforeseen, personal family matters. The family stuff interrupted my studying for a BIG test that I need to do well on so I had to delay the start of school to get in all the studying I could for that. Had that not happened, I would have gotten student loans in May and the beronline.ag money would have been a nice perk, but not direly needed money. Hence me sticking to the Furio mantra. I hope that clarifies my situation a little.

PROGRESS UPDATE: Lou contacted me about 10 minutes ago. The cavalry has arrived! Will update when the issue gets resolved.

In a few years Hopefully Karma will have the head guy from BOL sitting in one if your exam rooms, on that white butcher paper with just his underwear on, begging you to speed up his lab tests, and you put him through the ringer about 'calibrating his expectations' !

My own favorite of Furio was when he and Tony drove up in a golf cart on the golf course to speak with a doctor. Tony wanted to discuss the doctor's poor treatment of Junior, his uncle. Furio was intimidating the guy, walking towards him until he finally stepped into some water on the course. He gives he a hard look and says, "Estupid-a-fukin game." His character, as were many others, was priceless.

            Good luck getting your dough

Well just got this email from BOL. To their credit, they did refund my payout fee for the headache this has caused me. I'll stay cautiously optimistic as I have heard this line before. I'll post on here by 6/6/12 regarding the success of this payout. Who knows, maybe it'll come even earlier. Don't think this amount of attention would have come had I not contacted SBR though. As always, I am eternally indebted to Lou and Co.:

"Hi Anthony,This is Arthur from Betonline Player Services.
Let me inform you that your payout should be completed no later than Wednesday.
Should you require further assistance or information, please contact us by replying to this email or initiating a Live Chat.

                I remember that scene well.
Tony slapped the mini recorder out of Dr. Kennedy's hand, then Furio slapped his hat off his head and said, "Ohhh, therea wassa bee flying there".

                Truly priceless shit.

Contacted BOL once more yesterday to CONFIRM that I was definitely going to get the payout by SPECIFICALLY this Wednesday 6/6/12. Blood pressure rose a little again dealing with their live chat and email system, but the payout was confirmed for an "expected" 6/6 date. Of course I dread the unexpected here lol. Below is my correspondence with them following the latter email I received. Took out ticket number and my account number for security purposes:

                          Well folks,

As of 20 minutes ago, the deposit successfully cleared the batch processing at my bank and is now officially sitting in my bank account. I wanted to express my sincere thanks to the SBR staff and Lou in assisting me through my issues with BOL. To BOL - it may have been hell to get the money out of there, but you stuck to your word after I raised the issue with SBR. Thanks to everyone in here that posted well wishes for the successful resolution of my issue. Best of luck to all of you in your future betting endeavors!

                          Cheers,

                          Anthony

great news Anthony. I had a tough time dealing with them and got the 24 hour wait when it came to trying to talk to the right people. Communication there was very poor. I said to myself the same thing, they act like they are in different buildings and are about 100 people deep. Since then have moved onto another book.

I left BOL as well. Not worth the aggravation of getting SBR involved each time I request a payout. Keeping BOL on the recommended list here is a huge disservice to the forum IMO.
