Is there any gambling licenes that are considerer more safe than others?

If you se on bookmakers that have not payed there customers because of banruptcy, from what country have most of them comed from?

5 Worst Imo

#1 Panama is probably worse on average. They've licensed Panam, BetLay, BetUs, Ultimate Bet to name a few. They don't even have a massive number of licensees either, so on average they're by far the worse imo.

#2 Costa Rica doesn't offer licenses, of the companies located in CR is many scams but also some very reputable shops too and many solid small bookies. - Just no shortage of scams either.

#3 Malta licenses the highest number of somewhat shady (not so much scam) books - but this due to the massive number of sites they license.

#4 Kahnawake less relevant today for sports, but ineffective doesn't do much.

#5 Philippines all sorts of sites changing odds after fact, voiding bets etc. no one to complain to and no recourse.

Before getting into 5 best none of them are all that good. it's just where the most reputable companies are located or there are strict initial licensing process or something like this.

#4 Isle of Man

#5 Antigua - some will argue this doesn't belong or Curacao should be listed ahead - or for sure another regulated market. I'm going to leave them #5 for now though.

UK and aussie licensed are the most safe, if any bookie goes bankrup you problably will see some of your money.
Isle man and alderney are offshores but bookies seem safe.
Malta and gibraltar are where must eurobooks have their lincences but if you have any problems they will not help.
The rest forget it.

I mean the difference between #1 and #2 doesn't matter much and wasn't a list I sat thinking a lot about rather one I did off the top of my head. The reason for selecting Gibraltar is their initial licensing is super strict. They end up where they don't need to do much by just licensing massive companies. Unfortunately one of the largest in the world Bwin.Party doesn't live up to expectation and there have been a few other issues as well. UK on the other hand has licensed far more shady companies Gilbraltar has just major companies.

UK however licenses: 10bet, canbet, bodog, other stuff I never heard of 1Bet2Bet.com, danbook.com *perhaps that's just me not knowing them - but the point is UK has a lot more lesser known brands and questionable known brands - while Gibraltar the one somewhat shady companies they have are massive public traded companies.

In any case in a different mood maybe I switch those two or put someone else ahead of Antigua - just was off the type of my head response.
