    betsson account frozen?
I woke up this morning to find my account frozen. I made a deposit last week. There wasn't a reason or an e-mail. I had to go into the chat to find out that they need I.D. including a screenshot of my deposit. I've played at many books but have never encountered such ridiculous requirements.

I've been told it could take five business days to have my account validated. I would never have deposited had I known I would have been treated like some sort of criminal.

They've started checking ID's of all customers pretty rigorously.

A year ago or so, you hardly never had to send them ID docs, even when cashing out, unless deposit was made by CC or cashing out over couple of thousand. I had dozens of successful deposits and withdrawals over the years. They only decided to want my documents about 4 months ago when I used them last time.

I've also heard their cash out times have been several days for past months, too. Withdrawals used to be processed within 1 day, now it could take 2-5. Their staff is probably under heavy work load right now.

I've finally received an e-mail detailing how they are going to verify my comments. I had 17 open wagers before my account was frozen and I'm hoping they are going to honour these wagers.

They will honour these wagers for sure. This is a standard security procedure from them, which is rare, but not unique amongst bookies....

i think Betsson is quite professionaly operated.
worries are not needed. but if you know what you are doing, they won't let you bet more then peanuts from very soon on

Yes, they will limit betting stakes, but they have decent poker room, too. Tax free wins in EU and very reliable payouts. They are a decent and honest outfit. Nothing to worry about.

Okay, thanks guys. It's been over four days now and account is still frozen. Just very frustrating at how long this is taking...
