If I was running b365 I think I could well do without some of these people too. Seriously. Dealing with 3rd world countries full of fraud, is it worth the effort.

For your information, the bonus depends on the country ... it can be 200 GPB or 50 USD or even less ... so maybe not really a 1 month salary ...

My beef with this thread is that the OP hasn't let up and allowed a reasonable time-frame for the issue to be dealt with. Instead, he was posting his lengthy complaint and unwarranted accusations again and again and even opened up at least one more thread to say the same thing.

I sympathise with any genuine punter from countries which it seems Bet365 treats with extreme caution. Perhaps they have good reason based on the past behaviour of fellow countrymen. I really don't know. I have had accounts with them in the past an had no such difficulties. They limited me to a waste-of-time level but that's normal for Euro books. They are one of the biggest and most reputable firms in the UK and are not cheats.

No. I've never been cheated by a book. I've had the odd issues with a few but never had funds stolen.
But then I take a lot of care which ones I deal with.

bet365 is tough about ID and PVC verification... there's no question about that and it's been documented many times on here - usually by people in the same subset of countries. And I at least believe they should be as that hurts their ability to even offer bonuses at all, let alone the massive live betting and streaming features they provide. Whether their bonus is 5 euros or 5000, they'll be targeted. If little SBR forum is attacked by groups of people from specific countries hoping to take advantage of the Points system, we should obviously expect bet365 would be and then take serious measures to prevent against it. The only thing to do is try to comply with what they've asked. And please MSLopes - as has been advised by both bet365 and the posters here - stop continually contacting them via live chat several times a day. They're not going to communicate with you like that and you're only hurting your own position no matter how frustrated you are. They won't talk to you via that method. They've told you that several times. Don't waste your time and theirs... and even worse, get yourself more upset than you already are.

You need that code. Or find another way to prove who you are I guess that they'll agree to. Not sure. But again: Please don't go on live chat any more. It is not helping your case at all. I promise you.

It actually looked like it was done in at least November according to him. A month or less (if we're being technical - most likely shorter unless it was Oct 1 to Nov 1) after he opened his account and it was never verified. I realise it's easy to think all books are scummy but at least take a look at what the poster himself has said.

And again I reiterate that I don't think MSLopes is doing anything wrong... however when you change your address a month after opening an account at a major book and you didn't verify your account in the time you were living in your initial registered address, and for whatever reason (I have no clue of the inner details) they've flagged you for fraud, you're going to need to go through some headaches complying with their requests. It's as simple as that.

I don't know much about that website. Surely I've heard about it on forums and blogs but I don't think I can tell something about their verification process. It maybe good to contact them on phone if their customer support is not responding well by sending emails.

There's nothing to defend. I've played at this book for several years off and on... they always have and always will have a strict verification process. They're attacked by bonus hunters and scammers and they do what they need to in order to ensure that everyone playing at the site is legit. They're very clear about that in their Terms and Conditions. He signed up for an account and moved addresses a month later before being fully verified. It happens but as a result they've advised him what he needs to do now in order to be verified. He is not happy with that response. Justin7 has also received his complaint and responded in this thread as to what he needs to do. Again - still not happy and continues to jump on live chat even though they've made it very clear they won't communicate with him that way and several of us have advised him that he's wasting his time with that method.
