Was looking for a place to rate sportsbooks, and have found none. Heritagesports.com, has by far the best overall practices in the industry, as far as I am concerned. Pinnacle was great, till they stopped US business, bodog chinced me out of bets several times, though they were great until I began wagering more and more, SportingBet was great too. Everytime Heritagesports.com screws up, about 2-3 times in 7 years, they way overcompensate me for it, I mean giving me $500 at a time, without rollover requisites when they didn't put all the correct info on a withdrawal I sent, and my bank returned it, bang $500 to carry me over till the new check got there in a few days. I win a big future bet, now, but the season isn't over, demand they pay it, as they would in any walk in joint in Vegas, and bang they pay up. Was on a tremendous losing streak this year, and bang, here's 10 percent of your losses, out of the blue, go have fun, am up now, with that flow of cash, about what I was down for the year. I just wanted to tell someone, because there ain't no place else to make an honest rating, all the bogus sites that do, their emails are returned right back to me as undeliverable.

#4I'll add something to this.
I was moved to Heritage from BetJam.
And I am as cynical as a player can be. But Heritage does it right.
They are every bit as good as BetJam was, and the customer service is top notch.Comment -

I was transferred there from BetJM and they have been fantastic. Answer emails within 15 mins most of the time and are always happy to help. I have received a few reps via the online chat that I would rate less than stellar but for the most part it's great.
I was really hesitant when I was thrown over to them from BetJM, but it's very similar... Just place your bets and you dont have to worry about the rest..if you win you get paid, if you have a problem they answer in a polite and coherent way.Comment -

#11I'm really surprised to hear this... by the way did you see Heritage Insider's offer in the other thread to PM them and they would be happy to help you??? didn't think so.

#17EMily... you did the ONE thing that pisses books off the most: CHASE STEAM.
That is the #1 way to get limited and piss books off.... Ive gotten warned from the Greek for doing it before, so I don't even try it with books that are worth it in the longrun.
You bitch and bitch and bitch some more... its the same shit everytime... no one cares about your constant whining. You are becoming just as bad as Corey was with EZStreet.
Next time..if you don't wanna get limited... dont bet steam. Period. End of it. Take your $$ out of the site, and move on.... quit ruining every thread about Heritage.Comment -

I believe he is referring to the Martingdale system, in which you bet say $50.00 on a team to win, and if they lose double up until they win. Works best with basketball or baseball. Of course compensating for juice. Some sites will lower limits to prevent you from being able to double up more than 2 or 3 times.Comment -

i play there(since betjam ended) they seem ok. but the way they treat emily is not what i would call a 'A' book or a great book. 'A' books should take bets from everyone without the delays, without the limits being so low compared to others. they should gamble. heritage likes to hedge. they pick and chose who they do it with. they pick and chose who can play the contests. they pick and chose who gets bonuses that they email to 100% of players but as few as 15% acually recieve it(the valued customers). how do you think that makes people feel that have been playing there then find out they are not a valued customer, like heritage will put up with them but not value them. i have been treated fairly so far. but i can see emily's point.Comment -

They told Emily they give her her whole balance for free of charge.
She did the one thing that books hate.... even the great The Greek..... Chasing steam anywhere will get you the same results. If Tony or Spiro found out you were chasing steam, they would have done the same thing. Its common sense.
Closer to 90% get the contests.... not 15%.... as in anyone who has had an active account over the last few months prior to the contests.
A Sportsbook should gamble? Why? In what world? That me the dumbest comment I've ever seen on here. They are a business first and foremost, and have to look out for the good of the company. Places like Aces Gold went broke for having too much gamble..... What Emily did was obviously cheating and taking advantage of a slow mover. This isn't 10 years ago... books don't put up with shit like that.Comment -

#34books gamble every day. some more than others. on evrything there is to do with running a business. was told that maybe 15% got the xmas gift. but it was sent out to everyone. not a good business decision(every decision is a gamble). will only piss off a lot of customers. to be told they are not valued. cheating is a little strong. taking advantage of the situation is not cheating. anyways why not take the steam bet, it may lose. i am expected to gamble but they are not. ok. they make all the rules. they have my money way before i can find out if they will pay me if i win. they change the rules whenever it serves them. so with all the risks i take gambling, i expect them to gamble a little also. take my bet-if i win pay. that's not to much to ask. i should be able to make the choice of what i want to gamble on and how much i want to bet. they should take it. it's not, if a sportsbook should gamble, it's how much they are willing to. if that is true about them offering emily the full balance , free of charge, i would take it. who needs a sportsbook that treats you like you are a 2nd class customer. the hell with them.last thing is 100% of the customers should be able to play the contests. i like heritage. i just don't like this part of them. i am limited at a couple places. don't like it. but don't care. other sportsbooks willing to take my bets.
not 100%
For Christmas this year we have kept our prize in the weekly Pick the Pros Contest at $5,000. We are giving away $20,000 in our College Bowl Contest and will be giving away $1,000 each night from the 26th to the 30th in our Holiday Black Jack Tournament. In addition we gave the clients that gave us the most business – win or lose – Free Plays.
We hoped this would cover everyone but obviously our plan left some that deserved Free Plays out. PLEASE if you feel we dropped the ball on your account contact our Customer Service Dept and we will review your account. Your business means a lot to us and we try to do our best to show that.
Also note that we follow the industry standard of not including Non Recreational Players in our Rewards Program (free contests etc). Non Recreational Players do receive the benefit of reduced juice and free monthly payouts.
We wish all our Heritage Clients and SBR members a safe and Happy Holiday!Comment -
