Avoid Bodog Live - consistently cancel winning bets
I wanted to give another example of how Bodog Live cancels winning bets, but never losers (despite what Bodog Becky states). This has happened to me several times, but the last one was so blatant.

I felt a pass play coming on towards the end of the half, so I bet 3 ways: Pass Complete, Pass Incomplete & Turnover because all 3 had great payouts. The outcome was a turnover paying 11-to-1! My bet was immediately settled, but at the end of the game I received an email stating that the bet was cancelled

"This is just a quick note from the Bodog Sports team letting you know that your wager 'What will the outcome of the next play be?' "Turnover" +1200 have been settled as 'No Action' because it was deemed to be placed after the event began. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but the line was left up too long in error, and your wager has been deemed invalid."

So they cancelled my big winning bet, but didn't cancel the 2 losers! Also, the bet was placed well before the play happened. But if they deemed all bets invalid on that play, I thought they would for sure credit my account if I would contact them about the oversight. Nope:

"We appreciate you taking the time to contact us in regard to your wager that was cancelled, we understand that you might frustrated at the outcome of wager 22xxxxx. However; this was a error in the lines as they were still up past the deadline. The wager was considered as invalid and we cancelled the wager, as for the two wagers you asked to be cancelled 22xxxxx and 22xxxxx were valid placed wager and has been graded correctly."

This is some of the most blatant cheating I have seen from a sportsbook. They're essentially admitting that they only cancel winning bets. Again, these bets were made on the exact same prop on the exact same play! The big winner was cancelled, and the 2 losers were accepted. Shame on you Bodog! Players beware

I loved bodog live betting, and I can't say i have had this problem. But it closes pretty damn fast esp. when you bet on what will the best play be. you have like 5-10 second window, if that before it opens and closes.

I would say about 10 seconds. But that's kind of besides my point. The Turnover bet was the middle of the 3 bets. So if bets are "deemed to be placed after the event began" based on a specific millisecond timestamp, then ALL bets afterwards should be cancelled, not just the winners. Simply cancelling all winning bets (in this case 11-to-1) and letting the losers stand goes against the player-friendly mission that Bodog portrays.

I wouldn't be so irked if this was the first time. It has happened to many other winning bets, but they have never cancelled a loser. This was just the most flagrant since the losing bets on the exact same prop were not cancelled.

I've been a Bodog poker player & sports better for 8 years, and have only had issues with their live betting. Do you guys ever see these obvious mistakes get corrected or should I move on?

                  gatorfan,

make sure to include the wagering tickets in your complaint. If the timestamp confirms that they voided the middle winning bet, but honored a later losing bet, it is a clear foul.

Do you have DirecTv/Dish? Just so you know, Directv is on a delay from cable, and cable is on a delay from the real thing.

This is simply straight up stealing if the story is true.

Shocked that when given the opportunity to cancel the other two bets they gave you another middle finger. Maybe they thought you would just take it and shut up, from previous experience.

Were all 3 bets placed at exactly the same time or did you place them 1 after the other or place "Pass Complete" + "Pass Incomplete" before placing the "Turnover" one ?

If all 3 were placed at exactly the same time then they should all be considered exactly the same in regards to whether it was placed before or after the play was made and either all allowed to stand, or all 3 bets voided.

bodog did this too me twice during the world series, canceling wagers on numerous bets, fuk this place , and sbr will shill for them so no need to fill out a complaint , nothing will happen

stay away from bodog and if sbr does not change there "NEW" business practices , then you should not listen to anything that sbr says, they all have an agenda
