    I have been a player of BetOnline since Feb 2011, and have received payouts from them in the spring and recently in the fall (2 $2500 dollar amounts via check this past month). I was in the process of receiving an approved payout for $780. 95 (approved on 10/14) and $2500 (requested on 10/23).

    After attempting to log on today, I was unable to log on. I called them subsequently, and after talking to customer service, they have suspended my account. I asked why my account was suspended, and they informed me there is an issue of a payment from a CC that got charged back from the bank. I was never aware nor notified of this, as I can acknowledge by checking my online banking that all of the deposits were authorized and have posted. In fact, the majority of deposits authorized and posted the same day.


    I can understand their concern if a deposit was charged back from my card due to my bank (which I was never informed of from customer service nor my financial institution). However, I find the timing of my suspension to be questionable and unethical, as they were quick to accept incoming deposits this past weekend (in which I had no knowledge of the current status), but after a few winning wagers, (I turned a relatively small amount ( $400) to $2700 on 10/23) . It is interesting how they decide to suspend my account as of today 10/24 with 2 pending payouts that are due. ( $780, $2500).

    I asked them specifically which transaction was charged back, and they were "unable" to provide that information.

    Please help me as I feel I have been jaded out 3300 dollars as a result of their position to time when and who they choose to inform pertinent matter and subsequently decide to "suspend" an unknowing player, that could have been settled correctly and honestly if they were initially more transparent and conveyed what was going on.

      Sdotbold,

      I did file a complaint with SBR, I'll keep you guys updated. In the mean time, I'd suggest staying away from this book.

        Yeah i was gonna deposit there for football because they said they took ********** i have heard nothing but payout problems tho so i have stayed away. I haven't received any texts lately thank god.

            Haven't heard back yet from Lou, guess he must be busy. Might have to take things in my own hands if things don't work out ethically. But then again. What defines ethical in the online sportsbook world?

              Hmm, we've exchanged two emails to this point.

              We're discussing the chargebacks with management. The thinly veiled threats aren't necessary bud.

                  Thanks Lou, appreciate your help. Just been frustrated with this whole thing, hope you can understand. Just makes me wanna switch to books that don't involve all this processing mess.

                      I used this book a few years back and every time I did a cashout, the cs person would try to get me to keep my money in the account. it was like pulling teeth. I did get a few p2p withdrawls, but didn't like being harassed every time I do a payout.

                        please don't deposit money with this book. they are nowhere near a B+

                        I used to deal with Pinny and Oly when I played. then the law hit and I quit and recently came back. so I came here for a recommendation and they said BO was good.

                        huh uh. worst experience ever for an online book and I have been doing this since 1998

                          Totally agreed!!!They are the worst sportsbook I have played with along with betus.

                            The player's having all deposits made with one specific card refunded to him. The amount he'll be receiving in refunds next week exceeds what his balance was by more than $1,500.

                            He'll be able to remedy his account at that point by settling with BetOnline.
