    Betonline ncaaf h2's...
They are taking real bets on these -- 5k. They are occasionally dealing off-market numbers. What's your take on this? Are they sharp, or trying something new that might sting them?

I've seen BetOnline trying a lot of new things with relatively high limits compared to the market. My gut-shot impression is that they are opening up a ton of money leaks, but I'd love to hear other opinions.

If their linesman is sharper than the market then why not? He may have a deal with the owners where every time he wins with his off market lines he gets a percentage cut of the profits.

They could really get buried with that approach. Halftime bet action can be pretty lopsided and very unbalanced.

In other words, their line manager is shit.
We all know where those books usually end, in the trash bin.

They did this with golf match-ups all summer. It was sharp.

                        Don't know anything about BOL...
What I've observed from other books in the past is that when they start dealing off numbers to generate action and taking high limits in smaller markets that things tend to end badly. Not saying that's true here, but there have been cases in the past. Plenty of higher ups at books in central america still believe that a deposit is money earned, so just open the flood gates and watch the money poor in

What's the point of playing at a book that is slow to pay? Unless you work for SBR and get special treatment.

I find they mirror or try and mirror 5 Dimes quite a bit on their halves.

Their NHL lines move in tandem with Pinnacle for the most part.

I agree, they were ahead of most of the pinnacle line moves in golf

They're slow to put up 2h numbers in everything, the whole board is usually blinking before I see anything from BOL
